WP thyroid tabs

Hello everyone - Does anyone know why I do not seem to be able to order any more WP thyroid tabs now? And if I cannot get anymore WP thyroid tabs - is Armour as good as WP?

Hi! Due to WPs less allergenic properties, I too was interested in trying to source it, I contacted a few U.S pharmacies but was told they are no longer manufacturing it but couldn't state why. I have read increasing negative comments on Armour due to a change in formulation, but I have no experience with it myself so cannot say. I take Thyroid S but do not feel optimally medicated currently and it has a shocking amount of fillers. I am disappointed about WP as you must be, especially if you've done well on it.

Have you tried Thiroyd? Less fillers (very small tablets). I switched to it from WP because of cost and the Thiroyd seems fine - have been using it for 10 months now.

Thanks I did consider but it doesn't solve my official data info for my Dr. issue. I am trying to find manu's who provide it like every other meds. I would like continued support from GP, he is sceptical of meds that do not provide official data sheets.

No, although I reduced my dosage considerably four weeks before switching to Thiroyd so may not have noticed any minor changes. (I had been dosing according to how my temperature felt but then had a blood test which showed I was well over medicated.)

I tried the temp indicator. Didn’t work for me. If I had followed my temp and increased accordingly I would have been over medicated.

RLC upgraded their lab in August/Sept which interrupted manufacture of NatureThroid and WP. 1 and 1/2 grain NatureThroid is being produced but they haven't said when full production of all doses and WP will commence.

Brand alternatives to WP are NatureThroid, Armour, Acella NP and Erfa. Thai NDT, Thyroid-S and Thiroyd are also popular with members.
