When to take Armour thyroid

Woke at 3.30 a.m. and didnt get back to sleep till about 5 then woke at 9. I was going to go to my tai chi class but realised I didnt have the energy. Could I have taken the Armour at 3.30 instead of delaying my breakfast etc by the half hour needed for Armour?

Best thing to do is give it a try. I have been splitting my dose to 2 at night before bed and one in the morning when i wake up. But I keep forgetting the one in the morning until mid morning, so the past few nights I have just taken all three grains at night and havent noticed any problem......

The T3 in Ndt is supposed to be bound, not free, so its not instantly active.....

Some people take their thyroid hormones at bedtime, not having eaten for 2 hours before. If you take yours at 3.30 a.m. you'll have no problem as your stomach will be empty by then and you can have your breakfast straight away.
