Hashimitos Thyroiditis & Adrenal Fatigue

Hi, Aged 21 I was told I had an under active thyroid gland. I have been taking 50mcg, now 75mcg of levothyroxine in tablet form for the past 18 years or so. Recently, after STILL not feeling well (fatigue, pain etc) I paid privately to have some test done which show that I have Hashimitos thyroiditis (thyroglobulin antibodies 365.8 & peroxidase antibodies 91.5) and that I also have adrenal fatigue. My T4-T3 conversion was apparently fine. T4 107, TSH 3.02, free thyroxine 19, free T3 4.5, triiodothyronine 1.5. I read on the levothyroxine patient information that I should not be taking it if I have problems with my adrenals. Does any one know about this please? Do my results look OK? Is there anything else I could be doing to feel better? I have good days and bad days but seem to have bad days (extreme fatigue) after I have exercised (e.g walked a lot or danced). Thanks

PA13, it will help members advise if you could post the lab ref ranges (the figures in brackets after your results). Your TSH is too high for someone on medication, it should be just above or just below 1.0 although some people need it in the lower range 0.2-0.5 to feel well. Your fatigue after activity is likely due to undermedication.

When you get your next blood tests, always get the earliest possible appointment and do not take levo before but take it afterwards. You take levo on an empty stomach with 1 glass of water.

If you take levo at bedtime, miss this dose and take after blood tests. Ideally, we should have a TSH below 1 or suppressed if we still feel unwell. GPs are apt to be happy when our TSH is in the 'normal' range but that is not always helpful if we still have clinical symptoms.
