I have very low cortisol all day from four point saliva test and suffering from adrenal fatigue. I’m on thyroid medication as well. Also, on bio identical hormones , progesterone 225 mg. I feel hypothyroid and my Free T3 is low. I waited for a couple of months to treat adrenal but cortisol level getting worse. I asked my doctor to increase T3 . Do you think it’s wise to do so?

Hello, welcome aboard
What have you been using to support your adrenals?
For many people their cortisol levels improve when they get their fT3 to a decent level but supporting your adrenals whilst upping your T3 dose is a good idea as it can also increase the strain on the adrenals to start with
It's a bit chicken and egg I'm afraid
Thanks so much for your feedback. I use vitamin B complex, adrenal cortex 1000 mg, and Maca. Vitamin D in good level. Also magnesium
Thank you. Doctor prescribed now 3.5 mcg to add to my original thyroid medication in the morning T4 75 mcg/ T3 18.5 mcg. But the half life of T3 about three hours. Is it wise to add another 3.5 mcg at 2 PM to overcome the crash I experienced every day?
I tend to find taking one dose of T3 in the morning works best for me and stops the slumps where as others spilt it into 2 or 3 doses 8 hours apart so I'd suggest you try experimenting, there is a method called C3TM in which you take your dose in the early hours to help boost morning cortisol.... works well for some
