I am planning to tests my Iron, b12, folate and vit d levels. I am not sure how long before test I should stop taking supplements? I have read some places that it is 48 h, some places say that I should stop supplements 1-2 weeks before the test? Confused.

For B12 I've read it should be stopped for 4 weeks. That isn't always possible for people with serious deficiency or with pernicious anaemia. If that is the case it would be a good idea to check with the lab before coming off supplements and asking them what you should do.
For iron it is a good idea to stop supplements for a week before testing.
For folate and vitamin D - sorry, I have no idea.
Thank you, I think I won't manage for more than a week, my levels weren't brilliant last time I had them checked. I am going to do it with blue horizon, as my GP is not going to test for it, he refuses everything, long story..
I phoned blue horizon but woman who answered the phone didnt really know.
