Help please!

Hi everybody, I am hoping to pick someone's brains! I am almost at the end of my tether. My hypothyroid was well controlled with T4 and T3 until March 2012. since then I have developed back pain and various aches.I am now on T3 only. I was diagnosed with diverticulitis and given antibiotics 2 weeks ago. I have now been diagnosed with a UTI and given more antibiotics!

My thyroid peroxidase antibody is 67kU?L (Range >5.6) Each day I go very light headed mid afternoon.

I think my problem may be cortisol and glucose. I really do feel very poorly and would value opinions. My blood tests are all good and the GP's tell me there is nothing wrong. Thanks Linda x

The antibiotics are going to make things tricky for a bit with the effect on gut/immune system.

Try Kefir later when effects worn off -to restore gut health.

TPO antibodies are high- how can that be right?

I hope all the secondary problems clear and you get on track with thyroid soon -but you will need to post results.

Will do that. I was confused by TPO, but that was on printout!
