Morning all! Just wondering if anyone has any tips or info on the Vitamin B12, folate, ferritin and Vitamin D tests. As I understand it, the best B12 test to go for is the Active B12 test (I'm in London which means getting to St Thomas's won't be a problem), but I was wondering if there's anything specific I should be asking for regarding the other tests, or will the standard NHS tests offered by a GP surgery suffice? I'd need a GP referral for the Active B12 test, and as I don't have a huge amount of confidence in my GP practice, I want to be crystal clear about which tests I should have done and why, so I can fight my corner if I need to. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance! xx

I think you have got it right.
You can get the Active B12 test privately - if needed. E.g. through Blue Horizon.
