I did the genova 24 urine thyroid test as i thought i wasnt converting. Been hypo for20 years on 175 of levo. The results showed low t3 normal t4
I took to gp and she looked at my symtoms and agreed. She said to test vitamin d anf b12 and would also ask lab to do t3 but was also happy to trial t3. I see her tues. I have picked upbresults and they say the following.
Serum t4 20.3
Tsh 0.22
Serus free triiodothyronine 4.1
Replacement satisfactory. T3 level within range.
Urine 24hoir testing is not advised for thyroxine monitoring
They have given no ranges
And not carried out vit tests.
My symptoms are still ranging
Can anyone help?

Your T3 may be in range but I would guess, just barely. Are you going to trial the T3 then?
You may as well and see how you do with it. You might very well be low in vitamin D and B12 so I wish they would test that. They are both very important to hypothyroids.
If your T4 is higher than your T3, perhaps you aren't converting well so additional T3 might be very helpful. Let us know how you do.
FREE T3 LAB TEST: T3 is the active thyroid hormone. Free in front of the T3 means you are measuring what is available and unbound. Those on an optimal amount of desiccated thyroid, with no lingering hypothyroid symptoms and in the presence of healthy adrenals, tend to have a free T3 at the top of the range.
If you are on desiccated thyroid (especially if lower than 3 grains) and find yourself with the free T3 high or above range in the presence of continuing hypothyroid symptoms, or even hyper-like symptoms (anxiety, shakiness), it’s a clue you have adrenal fatigue, aka low cortisol
If not on thyroid medication: 1) If your free T3 is high, you could have Hashimoto’s disease, which will need the two antibodies tests to discern it, or Graves disease, which needs the TSI test. 2) if your free T3 is mid-range or lower, and in the presence of hypothyroid symptoms, you may have hypothyroidism, no matter how low the TSH.
You should NOT take any T3-containing product on the morning of a test.
