Knocked for six

fedupoffeelingtired profile image

I suffer with IBS-C. Can normally manage it ok with laxatives or magnesium supplement. Recently started taking laxido recommended by my chemist. I had the worst ever bowel movement today, it took almost two hours to go. To say I am sore is an understatement. Can anyone offer any advice on how to make things easier please

I used to get constipation with my IBS and took Senna for it. These days I am on a limited diet and generally cant tolerate fibre but I can eat carrots. I eat a half a kilo a day without problems and it keeps me regular.

Never heard that before, I like carrots but prefer them raw. I do eat plenty of fruit and veg and drink lots of water. My transit time seems to be very slow.
