Another question

Can I take mebeverine and buscopan before a colonoscopy?

It says on letter to stop taking Imodium, codeine phosphate & lomotil 5 days before but doesn’t mention mebeverine and buscopan!

I continued to take mebeverine the days before my colonoscopy I checked with a nurse. I don't think I took it whilst doing my prep though x

HiThe colonoscopy was clear!

The procedure wasn’t as bad as I was expecting, definitely go ahead if the doctor wants you to have one. It’ll give you peace of mind

The Dr’s have put it down to IBS

I’m on mebeverine twice a day which does help unless I’m stressed then I get a flare up
