Lomotil

It says on letter to stop taking Imodium, codeine phosphate & lomotil 5 days before but doesn’t mention mebeverine and buscopan!

Lomotil stops it dead in less than a day but is, of course, and opiate requiring a prescription in the US.

The onc already reduced the dose but I'm still having a horrible time with diarrhea, even with taking 6 lomotil daily. Would like to hear from others with similar experiences and how you've handled the problem. I'm very active and the D truly interferes with my life. Thanks in advance!

Has anyone found a supplier of Lomotil (co-phenotrope) in the UK or who will ship to the UK?

Hi everyone my name is Laura ive suffered with ibs-d for around 14yrs, tried various diets, medications etc and the only one that slightly helped was lomotil tablets which are discontinued in the uk frustrating to say the least as these tablets literally gave me my life back!

Hi , I've jus joined - I was following a post re Buscopan - I find it doesn't help much - I have a flare up at the moment, took 2 Buscopan and now have worse cramps - only thing really helps me is Lomotil, but can't get it in U.K!

Also, he has given me lomotil so if I am going out, I can take one pill an hour before so I wont have an accident and be embarrassed. Thank the lord for depends..LOL. I, as well as he is so shocked with the pace of progression and nothing is slowing it down.

Cannot function until about2pm..by then all meds are in my system: hyoscyamine, lomotil, donnatol, bentyl. Was on cholestyramine for a year until dentin on front teeth wore off and paid 1500 dollars for fix. This did help though with the diarrhea. Pain was still there though.

HAS ANYONE GOT PROBLEMS WITH THE AVAILABILITY OF LOMOTIL TABLETS ?

Oh my god feel like my life has ended and every which way I turn I feel like no one understands ! I've been on co-phenotroype for 8 years I know there's been supply problem the last time we had troubles getting my meds I tried Imodium God it was past useless ! So I wait at the docs today for some help

This drug is back on the market but it is now made by Mercury Pharmaceutical and it is under the generic name of Co/ Phenotrope it is exactly the same as the brand name lomotil my phone does not recognise the name so its saying it's wrong it is definitely right.

I take Cholestyramine, lomotil and sometimes opium tincture. Does anyone have any suggestions on something else I could try please. Thank you so much

Has anyone here successfully gotten a supply of lomotil in the past month or so? I rang the manufacturer when the pharmacist said there was a supply problem. They aren't expecting a supply until september, but there is a backup/emergency supply 'available' from a different pharma.

I have been meaning to finish what has turned out to be a three-part review of my experiences and thoughts regarding bladder and bowel issues. My last piece on this subject was written on 12 June 2012. Almost a year, then! My pretty lame response is that part of that time was taken up with hospital visits

I have been really sick lately and was given Lomotil and Phenergan, both of which I have taken separately in the past with no problems. This time I had severe episodes of tardive dyskinesia which I found rather disturbing.
