Bloating help

I have had severe bad bloating for years, I have tried several remedies with no luck . I can drink a glass of water and get bloated . I have had colonoscopy, gallbladder series, taken Miralax as directed, no luck, PLEASE help .

what works for one doesn't work for everyone,they are the only thing that works for me,I tried peppermint capsules and they made it loads worse but some people swear by them.

yes peppermint make it worse for me as well.

I have been diagnosed with a condition Dysbiosis  severe bloating, yes even from water, every type of food, pains looking 9 months pregnant. Out is fermenting of food in stomach and small bowel that causes an infection. I have been put on  four weeks antibiotic strictly for my gut then two weeks strong probiotic. Worth asking doctor to txt for it.

See my responses re Monash University FODMAP diet (YouTube and google search). As well i found that i tend to swallow air when i drink liquids. I have to be very aware of how I swallow to not bloat when drinking water. Good luck behj

I do the same thing I bloat when I drink a glass of water and now dr has me on a med that is mixed with water, its awful I have to gag it down and this does not help me. I have all kinds of test run. was told ibs , then microscopic colitis, at my wits end. missing lots of work with no pay.... dr seem dismissive to my symptoms

I have had similar history and the only relief I have ever gotten is from a combination of Prescription Linzess and getting on FODMAP diet (rec by my gastro doc), You can find tons of research tho I recommend using Monash University YouTube and searches linked to that research as guide. Their research protocol is impeccable.good luck . behj
