I’ve been on Pd form5 months, I’m taking Miralax everyday, about a month ago I have pain when getting up from bed in the lower left abdomen now it’s radiating to the right side, no nausea, no voting no hernia, no peritonitis, I don’t know what it is.

I am always super careful about not eating for at least an hour after taking my Rytary C/L ER, but if my digestive system is the least bit sluggish (I usually take Miralax daily, due to sporadic constipation), then I will have 2-3 days of rarely feeling “on”; I will do well to feel anywhere close to

Take Miralax daily but results are disappointing. Bloating hasn’t decreased in about 12 days. Any tips? Thank you

For that I take a tablespoon of MiraLAX a day. At Christmas dinner I was feeling really well because BM‘s had been managed properly. I had Christmas cookies. A for me. And then good sized brunch of an egg casserole and French toast. Nothing to drink no coffee.

Could not tolerate this daily due to terrible constipation even with Colace or MIralax. I have switched it to every other day but still struggling with the constipation. Maybe this will play in my favor for getting an iron infusion! LOL I am now taking 600 mg Gabapentin every evening at 7 pm.

I’m eating prunes, drinking Miralax and resorting to ExLax and things are still a struggle. Drinking tons of water also. Anyone have a surefire tip? It will get better, won’t it? Again, sorry for the unsavory topic.

Nothing is working now and today district nurse camw to administer an enema… that didn’t work as of 6 hours later so I’m googling district nurse coming back In morning to try a second Miralax enema and said may need phosphate enema but how we manage it going forward if this is now the new normal Found

My doctors disagree with one another - one says take Miralax every day. That was my gastroenterologist. Colo-rectal surgeon says - stop that right away, it's not meant for long term - take Metamucil. Years ago I took Metamucil and ended up almost with a blockage. My problem is motility.

Constipated and working on that with Miralax. I called the oncology infusion nurse and then the doctors (oncologist) office called back to schedule an appointment in 4 days!?!? I’m going to call them back. He’s not a complainer and a pretty tough guy. Any advice on what to ask for.

They recommended a miralax clean out. I completed and did feel like i passed the majority. Still seeing some blood, and recontacted PCM. They still haven't seen me but did refer to GI. I can't get in with GI till June 5th! The worst of the stomach pain is over just generalized discomfort.

I do MiraLAX and stool softeners and magnesium 200mg daily. Since I backed off on the binder, the constipation went away. I totally watch what I consume and even got rid of my daily oatmeal. I am sure they will try to tell me to do more dialysis.

Keeping the constipation under control with diet, water, miralax and occasional stool softener. I'm certain I have either hemerrhoids so bad they need surgery or some sort of fissure or fistula We shall see. I am grateful I found a woman (who wants to go into this specialty?)

I have been unable to make miralax work well. I was up to 4 caps daily and nothing, then doc added lactulose which did clean out some (despite diarrhea still very bloated and full of shit) but caused terrible nocturnal leg cramps.

I took a colon prep amount of Miralax last week with no movement at all. I had to press into my abdomen to squeeze out the fluid that had built up. This also produced a long strand of what looked like my intestines in the toilet.
