Suggestions for Achilles Tendonitis
We managed to get her a dress she was happy with and which she looks lovely in but typically in this past 2 weeks she has started to suffer from what we think is achilles
tendonitis
in her right ankle which is extremely painful and she is now struggling to walk.

Ankle pain and knee pain
In Oct 2023 my ankle pain was diagnosed as peroneal
tendonitis
. I took advice on footwear and did some exercises in the pool. The pain then moved around, under my foot and to my shin. I saw an Osteo in Jan/Feb and got some specific exercises.

Calcified tendonitis
Has anyone experienced calcified tendinitis? I have been diagnosed with this after 6 months of excruciating shoulder pain. GP kept just prescribing painkillers then I saw the physio who advised me to have an X-ray. I am now having a steroid injection in my shoulder followed by physio, and hopefully this

DVT Pain Relief
After 3 weeks of being told I’d got
tendonitis
, I ended up at A&E last week with diagnosis of large DVT in my right leg. The pain is so upsetting. I’m on a full dose of paracetamol and elevating my leg when I can.

After some advice
I'm suffering with a number of
tendonitis
issues and wonder if anyone has any advice about this? At the moment it's achilles
tendonitis
, and before that it was gluteal - both are slow to heal and are really getting me down as I had been doing some running (not far or fast, but still!)

Had the ablation.
Monday I had the procedure under general anesthesia-safely and successfully. The did give IV cortef at the start of the procedure. Since they needed to intubate my throat is sore for days but my ears-especially the right one are achy. I was debating why aching now; pollen count is moderate, and my jaw

Walking Speed
I know our bodies are different, but we all have something in common. Has anyone done or tried something besides ampyra that increased the speed that you walk? I've tried ampyra, dysport and I'm still moving like a turtle. My legs still feel very heavy! I'm still hoping to be walking normal again!

Co-Amoxiclav side effects with Disopyramide/AF?
Hi, just started taking Co-amoxiclav as an antibiotic, and now seem to be getting an increase in AF symptoms. Still taking Disopyramide, but this seems to be less effective at rate control than it has been previously. No Caffeine, no alcohol, so no obvious triggers. Anyone else experienced this?

Bit old fashioned...
I discovered that a castor oil pack really helps with knee pain. It's horrible sticky oil, but it works topically (for me at least). I have bad memories of this stuff from my childhood. Any hint of sickness and out came the bottle. I would not recommend injesting it! 🤮 it's better than the deep heat

About a month ago I submitted a complaint to the GMC detailing numerous counts of dishonesty and lack of thyroid knowledge https://healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk/posts/150396689/complaint-to-gmc-about-endocrinologist . I have received a rejection from the GMC. This did not surprise me because I later

GVHD and skin dryness.
Unfortunately I have chronic graft versus host desiese of the skin and have controlled it with a steroid cream since my ASCT a year and a half ago. My only issue currently is that I find it hard to look after the skin on my hands and feet that are dry and chapped. I have used quite a few emoluments

Severe Dilated Cardiomyopathy with heart failure - and now AF - anyone else out there like me?
I have severe dilated cardiomyopathy and heart failure but had been doing well despite the inner chaos. I played tennis 5 times a week, kicked a football with my children, took long walks, and was able to run up the stairs to my flat. After the metapneumovirus triggered AF 6 weeks ago I stopped being
