Fentanyl vs Zomorph, couple quick questions
Hi everyone, Today I will be switching from
Zomorph
to Fentanyl (Fencino 50) I can only use the bath and not a shower, I am a bit concerned about the patch when I am bathing.

Sciatical oddity
For some months now, while awaiting a Spinal De-compression, I have been using
Zomorph
, slow-release morphine, plus Amytriptyline - but the pain relief effect has been diminishing.

Morphine and more ?
And finally my GP has recommended I add to the
Zomorph
a nightly Amitriptyline 10mg. tablet. His view of my sometimes non-effective
Zomorph
is that it "is not good for nerve pain". Any views on this, please, fellow members. Dan.

Still in pain after two years Knee Replacement
I am on oramorph an
zomorph
which don't seem to help a lot, I spent quite a lot of time resting in between doing things around the house and being my husbands carer. My doctor says it needs to come out but I can't find any one to do it unless I go private and that will cost about £1700.500.

Alcohol usage with opiates ?
I take both
Zomorph
and Coedine, (for Sciatica, see my contributions elsewhere) - - advice says "avoid alcohol" - now does avoid mean not one single drop must pass my lips, or drink very moderately.

Hi everyone
I could no longer climb the stairs, could barely sit on the loo, needed help with showering on a seat, as I could no longer bathe and every waking moment was excruciating even on
zomorph
, gabapentin and top ups of oramorph.

I live on
Zomorph
oral morph and amitriptyline and paracetamol too. Can anyone advise as I'm a wreck with worry. I cannot work as I can't stay awake in a good day let alone a bad day. My Dr put that with extremely strong medication doesn't combat the pain.

Still don't get it and it's getting me cranky
So I'm now down to 60 mg of
zomorph
or ms equivalent and 1200 gabapentin.topped that up with escitalopran as it has a stimulant effect and I'm still fatigued, especially my eyes , it's like I've taken 30 mg of Valium straight in my eyeballs,?

Please Help
I was also threw up this afternoon which could be a further sign of infection or could be as I took 4x 10mg of
Zomorph
which ws double what ive needed before. I m so weary of being in very bad pain for nearly a wk now, im even considering a Hystorectomy. I just cant continue to live like this.

Had enough
I take
zomorph
slow release 60g morning and night, and a lot of the time I take 120mg more than prescribed. I am going to see a surgeon in a couple of weeks but I feel like everyone thinks I am making it up. I had an extract from a hospital letter please comment

Diagnosis, but awaiting pathology. Just need to off-load! Advice on preparing for chemo.
In general I am trying to carry on as normal with treats and lots of cuddling granddaughter (7 weeks old), walking, partaking of wine, as allowed by medic team (goes well with
Zomorph
lol) a spa day yesterday and a pedicure today. And eating well too.
