Liothyronine trial update
5 weeks into my T3 trial and sadly, it’s not been beneficial so far. I don’t feel any better. (In fact my health is awful- but I’m putting it down to lockdown blues/inactivity/crap diet) but it’s a catch 22 situation. I feel so terribly low in mood, so not eating the best, joints are painful so exercise

I have been diagnosed with POS, Underactive Thyroid and I'm being investigated for Endometriosis. I've came off of my medication (Cerelle) as I'm trying to conceive but I've went straight back to having a never-ending period (heading into month 2 of bleeding). The only things that's been able to stop

When pred was first prescribed I was also prescribed Adcal-D3 and Alendronic Acid. Why? Are these reduced as the pred is reduced, now on 8 down from 20?

Alendronic Acid - is it worth it?
Rheumatologist had just prescribed AA as the pred will be 'killing my bones'. She wants me to take it for 6 months then have a DEXA scan to see if I need to continue. Seems a bit of a barmy way round to me, but hey ho. So I have been reading back through all the posts I can find and am now absolutely

Severe Penis Skin Issue for a few years now. Can someone tell me what kind of doctor I need to see? Do I need to see a urologist or Dermatologist? Also, does anyone here know of a doctor in the US in the DFW area that specializes in this? Any idea what this may be and any recommendations on something

Will low dose of pred alter the outcome of the test?
First visit to Rheumatologist today. Sending me for ultrasound scan next week. Writing to GP to confirm PMR and GCA and suggesting low dose of pred and alendronic acid because of my age to test out. Can't tell you how pleased I am because all this pain without any meds is very hard to bear. My main

I need a new back.
If I have the
Zoledronic
acid
infusions I can not now see any possible benefit to me. My bone density is so low, and probably even lower now because of not having any further treatment after the prolia injection In six moths time I will not have received any treatment for over 2 years.

Doctors given up. Not sure what is wrong :(
Hi everyone, I wanted to ask if anyone else has felt this way too. I had a lap on 21st sept for suspected endo and none was found. Before my lap, a lot of my pain had subsided, I was able to go toilet every morning which really helped with my symptoms throughout the day and my pain levels. However, since

Worried I wont be taken seriously
I'm sorry this is so long - I'm really struggling with all this. I have always had pain with my periods, I first went to the GP about it when I was 16 - less that a year after they first started, because my mum told me that the amount of pain I was in wasn't normal. I went on the mini-pill for a bit
