Hi I need a bit of help can anyone tell me about Zoledronic Acid, I have been offered a course of this, can anyone please give me a run down on this treatment many thanks a old Soldier cheers.

You should have a DEXA scan to tell you your bone mineral density before deciding to use it. In about 2% of men, it can have some serious side effects that increase with long-term use, so it's not something to take unless you really need it.

Beware. Make sure you REALLY need the drug, or similar drug.

Even after the short (3 yr or so) regime the Side Effects can be devastating.
