Zoladex

About to take zoladex with tibolone , is this a good combination?

After seeing yet another consultant, I am starting Zoladex next month as a treatment for long term Endometriosis. I was diagnosed in 2012 and have had two laparoscopies (one with helica treatment, burning).

I'm also on Zoladex, tamsulosin and bicaltumide to prevent tumour flare. The headaches only started though when I started taking enzalutamide. I want to take this drug for obvious reasons but similarly i don't like the headaches.

I had my 3rd lap a month ago for endometriosis where they then put me on zoladex and tibolone. I had my first jab a week ago and ever since as well as hot flushes etc I have had the worst tiredness and complete brain fog I have ever experienced!

Biopsy Aug 2018 determines Gleason 9 (4+5) assigned stage PT2C Started Zoladex Sep 2018, 6 month depot.

Also another thing I’m not sure of is should I be using a condom for inter course or will the mirena coil work as contraception while on zoladex?

Also it’s been six weeks since my operation and seven weeks since my last zoladex injection and yet no sign of a period yet can anyone give me some advice on this. Thanks

Hi everyone I've been on zoladex now 6 months prior to that I was on prostap for a year but coz I was bleeding every month they said zoladex would be better for me..

I am with Ibrance Letrozole Xgeva Zoladex. Cycle 24.

I've been on Zoladex for 2 years after radiation. Meet with MO on Tuesday and expect him to suggest Xtandi. Any thoughts on what might a good add on to be more aggressive with treatment? Thanks.

I had a great response to the standard care of Zoladex and 6 sessions of Docetaxel. Scans in May 2019 and showed a significant reduction in tumour volume, my PSA reduced from 152 at diagnosis to a nadir of 0.07 in May 2019 and then a statistically insignificant decline to 0.06 in February 2020.

Currently on Zoladex thats the only one I have had for nearly 3yrs. Cheers take care.

Dear Ladies, I had 6 Zoladex injections and finished it 2 months ago. I've had my endometriosis surgery (laparoscopy) in August but I still have hot flush and high temperature, abnormal heart beat rate etc. Do you all have long term side effects due to the injection?

Attached is drug information about another GnRH drug called Zoladex and it clearly states menopause is a risk for some women although rare but I wasn’t told it was a risk and if doctors aren’t reporting it such as in my case then how do they know how many it has happened to.

Started to take the Zoladex injection once a month only had first injection a week ago so guess it will take time to get into my system, had six months worth of injection before the lockdown and it did east the pain but the night sweats are the worse and feeling cold during the day!

Put on zoladex. Anyway to cut a long story short I ended up having to have my stomach muscles cut away and wire mesh put in. Then a couple of years later my C section cut open again to have the ovaries removed.

I was on Zoladex injections for 6 months to suppress my ovaries and stop my cycle (early menopause). I have just done my first round of IVF in August,(long protocol due to the endo risks) I had my baseline scan- all ok.

But wonder if I should stay on zoladex abit longer 6 years without a break and operations every year.
