FINALLY Blood test results after 3 + months on Naturethroid!!
I may have been low or deficient in Magnesium,
Zinc
, Vit D2/D3 as I just started these supplements approx 3 months ago? I still have the LOW Free T3 and HIGH Free T4 pattern? But my TSH looks like it is moving in the right direction? PLEASE ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED!!

Exercise intolerance
I take vitamin B's , D, A, fish oils, magnesium ,
zinc
, selenium, l-glutamine and tiny bit of iodine as I hit a huge wall using more. I eat super healthy 5 times a day. Sorry for long posting , this all is just very confusing and just learning these things like about exercise intolerance.

Zinc over supplementation can cause copper deficiency
Doctors often incorrectly diagnose
zinc
deficiency, according to a clinical audit in Scotland, and so induce cases of copper deficiency because misplaced treatment results in too much

What now...any ideas?
Ok return of the crazies ;) So I stopped taking t3 and am now taking magnesium, vit c, b vits, iodine, probiotics, selenium and
zinc
. I took my temperature and found it is low (35.8 - 36.4 C) despite my feeling too hot all the time?

asthma complications
I've researched endlessly on the internet and am currently trying increasing my
zinc
levels and using steam inhallation to try to ease the chest congestion. Any advice/ similar experiences would be appreciated.

Beginning vitamin supplements: testing needed?
Before starting on recommended supplements such as
zinc
, magnesium, selenium, etc. would it be unwise to take up to the RDA of each mineral if testing is unavailable / denied / too expensive?

My husband went extra feral and I was not far behind
I seem to mainly churn out veg omelettes in the morning shoved into wraps and served with compulsory fruit salad and all washed down with vitamin C and
Zinc
. This then swapped for buckets of coffee later on. My teens are all older now and had tons of friends with them.

Taking high levels of NDT and still feeling ill
I take Magnesium,
Zinc

Thyroid, Vitamins and Minerals: Effect on Periods / Withdrawal Bleeds
Here's the question: is it more likely to be because I've found the right thyroid med combo (currently on 150mcg T4 and 6.25mcg T3 / day) or because I've started supplementing with magnesium, selenium and
zinc
? Probably the former but I'd be interested to hear of other's experiences.

24-hour cortisol test: supplements skew results?
For the 24 hours of the test I did not use my Beconase spray as it contains steroids but I did continue to take my
zinc
supplement. Now I read on STTM that I should have been off both for at least two weeks prior to testing. Will the
zinc
and the Beconase make much of a difference? Thanks Jo

Time for action.
Going to continue with magnesium,
zinc
, omega 3, C-Q10 etc. Alcohol will be cut down to a minimum and b just at weekends, with weekends actually starting on a Friday night rather than sometimes starting on a Thursday! (I know zero is best, but I also know myself).

Are zinc supplements causing constipation?
Do you think this is likely connected to starting the
zinc
? Is my system *that* sensitive? Or is it more likely to be something else? And yes, I know that the best thing to do would be to stop the
zinc
and see what happens. That, or shell out for magnesium supplements to counteract the
zinc
.
