Fluctuating Between Hypothyroid and Hyperthyroid?
My doctor informed me I am fluctuating between hypothyroid and hyperthyroid. I am on Synthroid 137mcg and he recently added liothyronine 5mcg. How long will it take for the liothyronine to make a difference in the way I am feeling? I am depressed, having hot and cold flashes, unmotivated, tired, not

New Thyroid Results - Need Advice
Hello all, I had blood work done yesterday (full panel thyroid and ferritin). I have scheduled an appointment with my new doctor next week regarding the test results. What do you guys think? My TSH has jumped from 5.5 last year to 9 this year! I definitely feel like I am running on fumes. I still haven't

Oral Epsom Salts For Constipation
It is a magnesium chrystaline powder that can be added to apple juice to mask the bitter flavour. It really works for adults and children. Not for regular use but occasional. https://www.kegel8.co.uk/kegel8-epsom-salts-supplement-12176.html

Hi, I have been following advice from this site and have been supplementing D3 with co factors, b12, zinc & selenium. I feel much better and my muscle aches have disappeared so thanks everyone. The only thing is, I’m still very pale. Looking at my ferritin results, it has increased from 18 to 25 in

Need some advice. Increase to 100mcg?High cholesterol and folate.
Hello everybody. I'm a newbie to the community. I was diagnosed with Grave's disease in 12/2016 and took Thiamazole since then. In early 2017, thiamazole didn't work well with me anymore and my hyperthyroidism was out of control. I then had radioactive iodine therapy in 9/2017 and started to take L-thyroxine

Now that I am finally recovering from the flu I am going to post what the daily regimen of supplements I am taking. Prior to listing the vitamins, minerals, amino acids....I am taking, I need to relate a little history. I have a degree in sculpture and was exposed to many chemicals including toluene

Can’t tolerate thyroid medications/hormone treatment
Hi. I’ve been hypothyroid for about 4 years. Over time I’ve developed a reaction to every thyroid medication there is. They give me various neuropathic or nerve side effects around my face and head. I developed the side effects slowly over time, and they’re becoming more and more pronounced to the point

Ferrous Fumerate 210mg
Trying to get some for my friend and used to get off amazon but no longer selling it. Can only seem to find on ebay or weird online pharmacy sites whom can't spell. Anyone know reliable source of where to buy? I suppose only other option is ferrous sulphate over the counter but this is harsher on stomach

T3 lower, TSH much higher after T3/T4 time-release - take T3 only, or T3 with levo?
Hi all, I'm from the U.S. but find info here great so wonder if you could advise what I should do next. Main question is, should I take T3 (5 mcg.) only to flush out RT3? Or take the T3 in addition to my old T4 levothyroxine, and if so, 75 mcg. of the T4 or just take 37.5 mcg (1/2 tab)? This was first

Feedback from first endo visit and a plea for help
Hi all, went for my first endo visit couple of weeks ago. Showed him my six hundred pound private bloods. He only wanted to look at thyroid panel not vit panel. Then just drew me a little picture like I was a six year old at primary school. Slipped in very quietl that only levothyroxine is treatment

Results on 2 grains compounded NDT and 60mcg T3...
I’ve been 10 weeks on the above dose and just seen my Endo. Initially I felt really good (by comparison) for the first 4 weeks; my first time on NDT and a Noticeable Improvement. Smoother than 100% T3. Then I just began declining again and by end of last week I was feeling really low and utterly exhausted
