Hi, ive been taking ferrous sulfate for 3 weeks and itll be 4 weeks in 2 days. I had a diarrhea is it normal? But so far i felt better earlier and i stopped taking ferrous sulfate just for a day. Should i stop taking it or still take it although it has side effects?

If you struggled with ferrous sulfate there are many alternatives, and you can buy them in the UK without prescription from pharmacies (for the substances higher in iron content) or from supplement sites or supermarkets.

Personally I took ferrous fumarate 210mg to raise my iron. I still take it in a much lower dose to maintain my levels as close to optimal as I can.
