Minerals - Zinc, Magnesium & Selenium results
Please would someone point me in the right direction for optimal mineral levels. I did a recent minerals blood test with Get Tested. (See picture of results) I’m thinking my Zinc & Magnesium are not optimal as they’re quite low on the scale. My selenium is high so I’ll cut back on the Brazil nuts for

hello, this is my first post - I’ve done a lot of lurking and learning here for a few months whilst waiting for blood test results. It’s kept me sane dipping in to this amazing space and given me confidence to get help and create structure around my health - which is amazing given where I was 6 months

Combined supplements
Hi, does anyone have experience of taking a supplement that contains Vit D3, Vit K2, calcium, copper, magnesium, manganese, selenium, zinc and boron? It seems a nice option just taking one tablet a day, but is it actually more advisable to take things separately?

Why did I go looking... Zinc inhibits cortisol

Hashimotos Now What?
Hi, I posted my bloods and symptoms a while back and said I was going to get my Thyroid bloods done privately. Well I finally did and the results are attached. My GP is unconcerned and my TSH has elevated from my previous blood test in May from 1.99 to 2.71, however my TPO has reduced a bit from

Test interpretation please
Hi everyone, can I have some feedback on my Blue Horizons results please? (Off biotin for the recommended amount of time). The bloods were taken at 8:15am, my iron was ruined in the sampling, but I luckily have a couple of other NHS tests from the SAME day: Serum Folate 10.8 ug/L [3.0 - 14.4] Serum

Hi guys, After recently finding out I have Hashimotos (going to the Dr on Thursday) I have been taking stock on what I take and whether it is beneficial to me or could cause harm. I take the Heights Smart Supplement and wondered what you guys thought of what is inside it. I was mainly worried because

Zinc is linked to histamine... I didn't know that!
Does zinc lower histamine? Zinc has shown to play an important role in histamine intolerance, as it impacts how your body stores histamine. Zinc deficiency has shown to allow a higher release of histamine. Concentrated zinc has actually shown the capacity to prevent histamine release from mast cells

GP and low zinc update
Saw my GP today as a follow up to my low zinc blood result and the text message to self supplement... So GP freely admitted that she had never tested for zinc and hadn't a clue what to suggest as she had zero experience... she asked why the test had been done and when I said the dentist had suggested

Zinc supplement?
Does anyone know anything about zinc and CLL? My zinc levels are low and I wondered if this is generally a presentation associated with CLL. I’ve tried to do some research on this but I don’t understand the chemistry. Many thanks in anticipation of your thoughts.

Hi all, Just had a friend visiting from the States who has battled severe fatigue since having covid, he doesn't have a thyroid condition. He found a supplement called NAD+ really helped him with fatigue. I can't find any info online in relation to this supplement and underactive thyroid, but wondered

New to this group
Hi all,I have hashimotos and hypothyroidism and have been a member on the thyroid forum for a while. It's been suggested I post on here for some interpretation of some bloods. I have been tested for PA but was told it was normal, but I'm sceptical given what I've read and what I'm experiencing. Apologies
