Mouth smell
Myself and my father both are diabetic. Both of us have mouth smell. Is it related to diabetic? If mouth refresher can be used, which mouth refresher doesn't have sugar?

So scared of this uncontrolled pain and more to come from dental treatment on 9th, before I can start Enbrel hopefully soon.
I am really sorry folks but my sense of humour and support is not good just now so please excuse me. I feel so bad my interest in almost everything is going. I had an awful time at the bone scan yesterday with my knees and legs being forced apart and over a plastic triangle for trying to get a better

Going to be a difficult next couple of weeks.
I wish this freezing UK weather would b***** off. I have gone downhill so much and if I try go out I am in agony for ages and take two days to come round. The all over relief of my steroid injection I had six weeks ago worn off apart from to the knee itself whichnis ok. Well at least I got one half

Hi all, I have Sjogren's but something else has been added to the mix. Red sore mouth and gums which I have told is Oral Lichen Planus.
It is an inflammatory condition due to autoimmune problems. Does anyone else have this condition as I am told it is not uncommon. Regards Cassiecat

diabetes complications.......Gums and Toothache
Diabetics generally suffer gums and tooth problems.Even those who are not diabetic are also facing these peoblems.A simple and free of cost remedy which I have used after losing 4 teeth and one root canal.when you approach a dentist with these problems, they will prescribe this and that for sometimes,

When is a sore throat more than that?
Hi all, how do you know if you have a sore throat or your white blood cell count is low? I've had many a sore throat but at the moment I can't seem to shift it and it sometimes feels like my throat is closing up. It looks red but not swollen.

ESA -v- Other benefits
Thought some of you may be interested to know that it is not always in your best interest to go to a tribunal and fight for ESA. If your partner is of pensionable age, you would probably be better off by claiming pension credit. With this benefit you have added benefits of paid council tax, prescriptions

Pursed lip breathing
Another question from this newbie. I've been reading about the pursed lip breathing technique and realise it's something I've been doing for quite a while (months before I was diagnosed). I read you should breathe in through your nose - 1,2, and breathe out through your mouth - 1, 2, 3, 4.

Who To Trust, Dental Treatment Abroad?
I know that this is not Thyroid related but I want to get some information if I can. SEETHING!!!!!!!!
Sometime ago I received a letter from the NHS dental services saying I wasn't entitled to free dental treatment, despite being on ESA!! I wrote a real snotty email back telling them to check their records, but they were adamant. So they sent me a letter for the DWP to complete. I took that in Jan

Oral thrush/hoarse voice
Hi everyone, I have kept my daughter on 3 or 4 puffs morning & night of her flixotide preventer since the week before Christmas. Compared to her usual bouts (which were every other week and horrendous!), she sailed through a cold mid Jan, and *touch wood* has been quite even-keeled since Christmas.

Tonsillitis and asthma
Hello, My 5 year old has tonsillitis, ear infection, cold and asthma flair up. Seems to get all at the same time, this one is particularly nasty. Does removing tonsils help? So much responsibility with meds etc really feel useless and overwhelmed!
