Does everyone need a flu jab?
I'm just asking because I didn't get around to it last year and I don't think I suffered as a consequence and I need convincing it's worthwhile. I know that we are encouraged to get a flu jab because of our compromised immunity (due to treatment), but there are so many variants of flu, does it really

Flu jab and flare ups
Hya. I had my flu jab on Tuesday, and now I have a "Lovely Flare". Do you think that's what's brought it on? Or was I going to get it anyway? I got the jag in my right arm, and it's my right ankle, knee, thigh and hip? that are playing up. (Agony). Anyone else had this after there jab?

Flu jab!
Hi everyone, it's got to that time of year again where I start to worry about flu vaccinations. I've just heard that the nasal spray is not recommended for people who come into contact with those who have RA. I work in a dental practice and haven't had a flu jab yet, however I will definitely come into

Flu Jab
Has anyone had a flu jab before and if so, was it effective do you think? Any side effects? I'm considering it as last winter was one virus after another and I know it won't stop it but if it makes it less severe, surely worth it? Thanks!

Flu Jab
Morning. Its that time again! I've had the jab for years. No ill effects This year I've been in hospital - Pneumonia. Discharged 10 days ago and I'm almost afraid to acknowledge that I havent felt this well for so long 😀 I'm worried about the vaccine after being so poorly. Keep smiling. Ann ☺

flu vaccine
Know some have written about whether or not to have the flu jab and possible reactions. Had my on Saturday, 8am. By 7pm I felt so bad - headache, muscle pains, sore throat and runny nose. Happy to say that 48 hours later I'm back to what is 'normal' for me. Was worried I was going to proper sick

The End of Annual Flu shots?
[i]"People’s susceptibility to flu and other viruses can often be traced to our DNA and whether we have the gene for a particular protein which blocks viruses entering our cells. It is described as a universal block. The gene, IFITM3 blocks dengue virus, ebola, influenza viruses, and the corona viruses

Should I have the flu jab?
It might seem like summer is only just on it's way out (I can still see a *little* bit of blue sky out of the window here in Liverpool) but it's already time to start thinking about your flu jab. Vicky, one of our helpline nurses, has written a blog post explaining why it's important, who should get

Hello all, Hope all is well? When I last went for my lung function test I was told by the doctor that I should consider having the flu jab. I am looking into it and was hoping to get some advice from others who may have had it or were thinking about it this year. I don't want to get it if it will make

Do you think it is good or bad to get the flu shot, heard they are study as a lot of people apparently came down with it after a flu shot and not sure if it could be related? Always get it, but thinking twice this year.
