Having the vaccine for Hep A is probably far safer than having the infection. I have HBV and was advised to have Hep A vaccine, also the influenza vaccine.
Is he on medication for the HBV even though it is 'inactive' - have the docs explained what having chronic HBV means?
No he isn t taking any medication for now..but he isn t immune against hAV so they told us that he mast take the vaccine series
