Indomethiacin Question
After reading about the studies using indomethiacin with
Xtandi
as a AKR1C3 inhibitor to maybe stop
Xtandi
resistance, I’m interested in knowing from those taking the indomethiacin, what doses are you taking?. Been on
Xtandi
for 5 years this month with great success.

Back on the trial!
Surprisingly the
Xtandi
is working after a short failure time on Xytiga. He’s expressed desperately wanting to begin working out again to combat the fatigue and lethargy he’s been experiencing . I’m just praying this lasts so that he can enjoy the spring /summer!

Husband doesn’t want more chemo
But,
Xtandi
is done working. He is still on that, Lupron, xgeva, pain meds. PSA is rising but still low (3.01 two weeks ago). DT is under 2 months. New mets to spine. We are at UTSW and Dr wants him to start docetaxel again this week but he just doesn’t want to.

Keytruda or xtandi side effects
The doctor said stop
Xtandi
which he did but wonder if the reaction was from keytruda or
xtandi
??? It is better now, but still electric shock feelings in back and still a little red. I hate to stop trial and don't know if this is temporary reaction that will subside or continue.

Xtandi
- but as PSA continues to rise so does pain and currently on morophine twice daily.

Update On Dad's Duke visit
I pray Dad will get long lasting good results with the
Xtandi
. Also, I wanted to share that the fatigue from the
Xtandi
was pretty bad, but now since he switched to taking it at night he is doing much better:) He also gained 1 lb and is now at 159 pounds at 5'11".

PSA at zero after 3 months on Xtandi, can it last?
My question is has anyone ever gotten their PSA to zero with
Xtandi
and kept it there long enough to be considered "cured" or maybe in long term remission, or does it always start creeping back up after a few months? thanks

Oscillating PSA
I am on a drug trial with
xtandi
plus a mystery drug. I am coming to the end because my PSA is rising. However, it seems to be rising in a zig zag pattern. It's going up two points and down one, or up four points and down two. Has anyone experienced this?

Xtandi Resistance Treatment
A friend of mine has been on Lupron/
Xtandi
for 23 months. His PSA was holding steady at .3 until it jumped to .9 then 1.2 and 1.4 these are monthly readings. He had a bone scan and has mets on his spine and ribs with extreme pain in the right hip.

Phase 3 ARCHES trial - Enzalutamide + ADT
If co-administration is necessary, reduce the dose of
XTANDI
. Avoid strong CYP3A4 inducers as they can decrease the plasma exposure to

Never a break it seems
Xtandi
and whatever this other drug is, gave him fatigue, diarrhea (severe) and other symptoms. If we go back to the oncology visit and find he has to be taken off, Chemo is next. He’s already been through the ringer and it’s only been two years. I am so sad.

BIRM interest
Doing Lupron every 6 mos and on day 11 of
Xtandi
. Last PSA on 1/31/19 was 312. Just wondering what BIRM is all about and if it would benefit my Dad and go well w/the
Xtandi
and vitamin supplements he’s already taking?? Thanks

Xtandi clinical trial and side effects
The trial involved
Xtandi
and another drug thought to extend
Xtandi
. My dad has been miserable and suffering with nearly debilitating lower gi issues. Imodium and a prescription anti diarrheal medicine have not worked.
