Making decisions and trying not be fearful
Last Saturday, I started Humira which for me personally makes me nervous. I have had two injections in my SI joint (left and right side) Over the last two weeks which I was hoping would be helpful. Have not notice any noticeable changes yet as it is still difficult to lay on either side while sleeping

Inhibition of NFκB Reduces Prostate Cancer Related Osteoclastogenesis In Vitro and Osteolysis Ex Vivo.
New UK study below [1]. See a post from 3 years back [2]: "Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Parthenolide - Feverfew" I have also posted on inflammation & the role of chronically activated nuclear factor-kappaB [NFkB] in PCa. All the polyphenolic usual suspects are NFkB inhibitors. In the new study, the target

For 9 years I suffered without diagnosis. Trying to do life, falling down literally, inevitably hurting myself bad eventually. Since receiving a diagnosis a little over 15 months ago changed everything. I had a reason I was a cripple and it wasn;t self-inflicted. My life had literally been put on hold

CBD oil -- gets mixed reviews. I just connected the dots (for me.) Maybe this is why.
Over the past 2 years, I've bought 4 different kinds of CBD oil and only used each a few times as they did nothing for me. 3 weeks ago my daughter, who has a medical marijuana card, sent me 3 different forms of medical grade CBD oil and the difference is significant. One was a disposable vape, one

Cough drops did the trick
I have to post, especially to papatom, regarding a solution to persistent mouth sores related to taking Imbruvica. Papatom responded to my recent post that he’d inadvertently found relief by sucking on Ricola lemon mint cough drops. I have tried everything from oil of oregano and mouth rinses to powerful

A bit of history - MY advanced, aggressive PCa story continues ...
A bit of history - MY advanced, aggressive PCa diagnosis seemed like a death sentence. Age 66 - in reasonable healthy state, overall, although I suffer from severe arthritis,, which I have been able to manage (finally) in the last 18 months, with the help of some off label assistance AND medical cannabis

Pain swallowing and tongue sores
I started taking 420 mg Imbruvica in December. After about two weeks of many side effects, I felt fine. Then these past few days I’ve had pain swallowing and very painful tongue sores. Gargling with baking soda in hot water and putting Orajel on my tongue work but are only temporary fixes. I just emailed

Names of targeted therapies ...mab and ...ib
Chuck Maack found this web page and posted the link to it in another prostate cancer forum. I think it gives a really clear and useful explanation of names like "ipilimumab" and "imatinib". https://voice.ons.org/news-and-views/the-names-of-targeted-therapies-give-clues-to-how-they-work Alan

More controversial medication. I still don;t care if you are anti.
I sent this in a private message to someone, but I think it should go here too. I have been a true medical cannabis user since 2014, but more like 2010 in reality. I smoked a lot of joints, which was just the norm here, even if I don;t like it. I got vaporisers (I have 5 different ones) over the last

Medical Marijuana
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/medical-cannabis/ I was back home in the UK recently, popped over to France (with it's notoriously strict drug laws), have to say that in France, I have never seen quite so many people smoking dope, openly, in public, in view of the police. Back to East London. As usual
