Does anyone have experience with herbal supplements for PMR?
I am about a month into treatment for PMR. So far 20 mg/day of prednisone is helping, but I still have significant pain in the AM. After talking to my rheumatologist, I just started some turmeric in addition to prednisone. It's too early to tell if it helps. Does anyone have any experience augmenting

CBD OIL
If anyone has had results with CBD Oil for RLS I would greatly appreciate hearing which one as I cannot get medical cannabis in the UK, which I know would help considerably. As there are so many CBD products out there it is a minefield, so if anyone can recommend some I would much appreciate it.

MEDICAL CANNABIS AND RLS
Hello I have had RLS for 56 years and then FIBROMYALGIA for 24 years. I am about to go over the top with the RLS as it has all become too much. I have tried all the various prescription drugs that I have been offered by the GP and hospitals, been to a sleep laboratory, tried various alternative therapies

Thrush treatment for BV?
Hi! So I had a positive test from the doctors for BV but was prescribed fluconazole (which I’m unable to take for other health reasons). The doctor then prescribed canesten pessary and cream thrush treatment (which I am also unable to take due to ongoing bleeding). Is it normal to be given thrush treatment

It’s 4/20 today, for all you guys that use cannabis for pain management.
Welp, I wasn’t gonna do it, but no one else came forward. Today is the annual 4/20:day celebrating cannabis and medical cannabis. So today when you are medicating for your skeletal pains and body discomfort.... remember to have an extra toke, brownie or dab to give some extra relief and put that chain

Need some guidance on chemo
I have done 4 chemo's so far and I am scheduled for the 5th on the 4-19. I tolerated the the first couple alright but the last 2 have put me down to where I am having trouble functioning. I am debating as to ask about stopping because of how sick I have become. Had my scans and was told they were stable

Buprenorphine patch
I have been on 5 microgram patches for over 2 years now. Apart from feeling sleepy more often than I did before they are brilliant. The only bad point is the staying out of the heat. I've done 2 years of staying in the shade and I really miss the sun bathing. 🌞

Opiod "crisis"/ Medical Cannabis
Depressing to read in todays Times another hatchet job on the prescribing of Opiods in the UK, lessening still further any chance of we sufferers getting help in that direction, slight upside for me personally I had my interview/consultation for Medical Cannabis over the weekend via the Project Twenty21

Terrible itching keeping my husband awake
Does anything help the itching related to high biliruben. Husband is taking Colestyramine sachets , has tried chorphenamine 4mg, otc antihistamines, and prescribed fenofexadine 120 also using Dermacool 5% cream all of which are useless. Any advice greatly received. Thank you .

How to prevent thrush
Hello wonderful people! Always here for advise 🙂 I had horrendous thrush during my last failed cycle and I’ve just started my pessaries today and already worried it’ll come back again. Any suggestions as to how to prevent it? I’m already ditching the panty liners that I used before but is there anything

Ruled by anxiety
Hi all. This is my first post. I'd like to say that I have been taking Effexor for years, and have been given Xanax as well, which I never take simply because I want to limit my intake of pharmaceuticals. The Effexor has done nothing for me, and it is so very difficult to wean off of it, which I decided

THC/Marijuana: Why/how does it work for PD?
I live in the US in a no-marijuana state but only 5 minutes from a recreational-legal state. I usually go to my sister's house (in the legal state) at bedtime, grab an edible, then head home to sleep (it takes about an hour to kick in). Without THC, I barely sleep at all. It takes 4-5 hours to fall

Doxycycline
New research demonstrates the anti‐dyskinetic potential of doxycycline (& its analog compound COL‐3) in a rodent model of Parkinsons; L‐DOPA was not affected by doxy or COL‐3; Doxy was also associated with decreased FosB, cyclooxygenase‐2, GFAP, & OX‐42 https://bpspubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111
