Tube removal-one week on-any guidance/help/advise on recovery really appreciated folks
Not just the
wounds
(which are actually alright) but my tummy-WOW 🙀 Also finally ideas of recovery time? I was told I'd be 'sore' for 24hrs-yeah right!!! A week after I'm practically housebound still.

What I do find is all
wounds
, injuries that bleed take much longer to scab and heal. I found a great product, Brave Soldier, a great antibiotic ointment used by triathalon trainers. Look i up at Amazon. It heals all quickly. It can be purchased at (you guessed) Amazon!

Post lap concerns: wounds and exhaustion
Hi ladies, I am now 5 days post lap op and literally spend 16 hours asleep today. I am still exhausted, like I get up to shower and then I need to sleep for a few hours to re energise. After I sleep I wake and still feel like I need to sleep. The doc said I would be able to go back to work today (I listened

laparoscopic adhesiolysis recovery time.
Feeling really tired, sick a bit dizzy and still sre around the
wounds
. I had a bit of a rash appear yesterday with itchy bumps and tiny blisters, so booked an appointment to see a nurse, they changed it to a gp. I presumed it was a reaction to the dressings, even though I've never reacted before.

Any advice?? Post lap
Any advice how to keep
wounds
clean? Belly button really sore and I'm squeamish when I tried to take dressing off to clean. Also have no appetite whatsoever, and pressure when I have a wee is uncomfortable. Probably waffling on and above makes no sense but painkillers must be taking their toll!! Xx

Getting out there
Hullaballoo here. I've had a mood disorder for decades and I'm just getting around to acknowledging the severity of my anxiety issues. Does anyone have suggestions for how to find people to help lift me out of my rut?

Sandypatsy
This meant having to go to a surgery or outpatients to have the
wounds
dressed. When all was healed I was offered more implants or prostheses. As far as I'm concerned one can only have some many ops before one is living on borrowed time so plumped for the prostheses.

Skin issues all my life
The same spots keep itching so even if it's scabbed over one day, it will itch like crazy in 5 minutes and I will open the
wounds
again and again and again. Many times it will then start weeping a clear fluid that is tinged yellow.

Laparoscopy frequency
Hi all, I had a lap for diagnosis and excision of Endo in November 2016 and thankfully afterwards was symptom free! However, I've started getting the same sort of pain again. Not that I'm planning on looking into it just yet but I wondered how soon it would before my GP might consider referring me

Manuka Honey
I'm using Manuka Doctor honey on a surgical wound. As a nurse I did a lot if research on types of honey, they are not all the same and raw may cause bigger problems. The week I've been using this my surgeon and I are happy with the healing so far, the picture is 5 days apart. Probably has about another

Having a 5k reset
So rather than sulking on my paws and licking my
wounds
I decided to have a reset. I have a new 5k route and baseline time. That way I can work on my time and enjoy the new challenge. I think it's so important to have things to keep us going and give a focus for running and that is fun too!!

Peppermint oil for gas pains?!
Hello ladies, Just wondered if anyone knows where I could get hold of some peppermint oil/water? Seems a lot of places have aromatherapy oil, but don't think that is very drinkable!!? Got given some at the hosp which was amazing! Thanks 💕

Strange meeting with oncologist
This means I'm now being offered CX plus herceptin(I'm HER2 positive) starting in 6 weeks once I've had time to recover, my
wounds
have fully healed and I've had a ct. I will then be scanned pretty regularly.
