Hi, I am a RN with Chronotropic incompetency. Diagnosed 3 years ago. I have a Biotronic pacemaker and am very active. I do cardio 4 days a week and strength training 2. Despite numerous tweeks to my rate response. I have a CSL loop. I still have shortness of breath and my doc, I feel, has written me off. Any one else have similar experience? Thanks.

Hi I have a pacemaker and too exercise 6 days a week initially rate set to 60 BPM however it wasn't enough so when not exercising its 60 but another part activated so if my breathing rate goes up it will pace up to a max of 125 BPM

My rate is 65 routinely but up to 154BPM when I exercise hard. The problem lately is the sensory Loop is not picking up enough motion to increase the rate response and my pulse does not pick up enough to compensate. Thanks for your response. We are at the extreme end of how fast it can go , if I ever get there it is great. Lately , I can't get it to increase like it should.
