Travellers Diarrhea
Has anyone ever been abroad before and came back with diarrhea? I actually managed to get through 12 hour flights and 3 weeks in Brazil with only a couple of bad episodes .. thanks to Imodium helping me through. The day we were due to fly my stomach was so bad which was not unusual for me with anxiety

chronic diarrhoea 4 days.
I honestly feel like just stopping the prednisolone. It’s one thing after another. Nothing is staying in my stomach and I feel so weak. Any advice appreciated. Do I take Imodium? 🙏

Prednislone and Anxiety
I've been reducing from 20mg pred since November 2022, currently on 11mg. Since Christmas I have had episodes of extreme anxiety, depression, mood swings and tearfulness. Ablation recovery
My husband had a cardiac ablation 10 days ago . On discharge he wasn't given any information other than rest. We don't know what recovery looks like? He is extremely tired after just a little bit of exertion eg he folded up his clothes and tidied his wardrobe yesterday, calmly, slowly. And was then exhausted

Stopped taking mood supplement, SAM-e...is that WHY I'm struggling?🤔🧐🤨
I've been taking 400 mg of SAM-e once a day for several years as a natural mood stabilizer. Like St John's Wort, it is a natural antidepressant option, too. Included a description of what sam-e is below 👇... I stopped taking it at the beginning of May when I started microdosing Psilocybin mushrooms,

Husband had a severe TBI
HiI often read these stories as they give me comfort. They also offer a different perspective as I didn t suffer a TBI injury, my husband did after a kite boarding accident. 28 days in a coma several months in rehab. No one thought he would survive yet alone return home and to work. But I have a different

Feeling down
Hi to you all,I'm a bit down today and hope it's okay to offload on you guys. Been having back and stomach pain on 'watch and wait' and my onc said this morning that a gammography showed several metastases on the spine. I already had two bone mets but seems to be spreading fast. So I am now platinum

Apologies for the offtopic but I thought this was an interesting anti-oxidant supplement although only preliminary research has been carried out on it as yet. It seems to have potential as a very powerful antioxidant but too much anti-oxidants can also be a bad thing (based on vitamin E and beta-carotene

New test reliable?
Hello everyone. I hope your Saturday is going well. I spoke with my GP this morning to receive blood test results. She said my liver tests are good, my ALT only 50. She explained they did a fairly new test too, called fibrosis 4, known as fib 4 and that assessed scarring of the liver. It was really low

Gamma GT
I was previously a heavy binge drinker, i had liver function tests which were ok but slightly raised GGT. I stopped drinking completely a couple of months ago and had the blood test again, it has risen rather than going down. i am otherwise very fit, healthy BMI and a good diet. Does anyone know why
