IVF vs trying naturally with low AMH
Just had second round of IVF with a failed fresh blastocyst transfer and a first round with no blastocysts (I am 43 with an AMH of 0.8). When I had my initial consultation, I’m pretty sure that the consultant told us that our chances if trying naturally were at around 5%. He said (I think) that

I’m currently on 125mcg of levothyroxine. Overall I’m feeling much better with most bothersome results now being constipation and intense itching which comes and goes. My doctors seem very reluctant to increase my levo and I’ve had to push for each increase so far. These are my recent results.

time to try T3
Hypothyroid - 20 years always on T4 but same brand Mercury Pharma, currently taking 150mcg. Like everyone I private test to get T3 T4 have paid in the past to see private endocrinologists and am reasonably well informed (mainly through this forum). I don’t suffer as badly as many people do but maybe

Medichecks 20 March 2024 History:
Hypothyroid (after RAI in c2004)
Spent 2023 improving folate, B12, Vit D although ferritin still poor. Came off PPIs and now take Gaviscon twice daily. Gastritis issues ongoing though. Officially a poor converter (dud DIO2) so really wanted to try T3 Gluten

new here and don’t understand too well
In December last year, I was told that I have thyroid issues, or that my thyroid was working too hard to produce, I’m honestly not even sure, I didn’t understand it when doctor was telling me. My issues were stress, anxiety and I was struggling with joint pain, in my hand, foot and knee. I was having

Postpartum Thyroiditis
Hi all I had my 3rd baby 12 weeks ago. A beautiful boy I was feeling absolutely fine after birth (suffer with anxiety anyway) but about 1 week before my cycle started at 8 weeks I just spiralled, awful anxiety, constantly on edge and horrible feeling of fear, hot flushes, night sweats zero appetite

Dose of Levo lowered
Hi, My GP lowered my thyroxine from 150mcg to 125 mcg as my TSH was 0.01 after the January blood test My TSH has been low for years. There was no discussion about how I felt and no option to stay on 150mcg. Results from Monitor my Health as GP refuses to test anything other than TSH! Both tests

hopefully getting somewhere!!
Having been treated for hypothyroidism since 2000 when I had a thyroid nodule, I have struggled with my weight and wellbeing to varying degrees over the years. I'm now 79, but active. I saw an Endo privately in October had a few blood tests which I have posted, (including Medichecks in Feb I think)
