I have a fibromyalgia diagnosis on top of hypothyroidism so yes I can easily believe that more levo.( or T3) can make a lot of difference. But your TSH is high at 3.62 so 12.5 mcg a week will not likely be enough to reduce it to under 1 as recommended on this forum. What is your prescription dose if you have upped to 87.5 just the last 3 days? What is your problem…continuing on this same dose for next 6 weeks before retesting thyroid bloods as you will run out of levo.?

What is your problem

Was on 100 mcg thyroxine one day and 87.5 mcg the next, tsh 3.21.Went up by adding 12.5 mcg a week for 6 weeks and tsh 3.62 ! Then added another 12.5 mcg thyroxine a week and symptoms worse more pain as I said an feeling rough.I need more thyroxine but cannot tolerate it.I am thinking of reducing to 87.5 thyroxine and adding t3 again. My problem is why I feel worse on increasing thyroxine and the longer the increase ,the worsese I feel.

Oh I misinterpreted your post; could you be reacting to something eg fillers in the brand of levo. see you were having problems getting Mercury or equivalent some time ago? Also see a year ago you were having similar problems did you get your vit D improved, and B12, ferritin and folate are good?

Retest 6-8 weeks after being on constant dose and brand of levothyroxine

Nothing.

Wait 6-8 weeks. Longer is better when tweaking dose, around 3/4 months and retest. Then make a decision.
