Vitrectomy
The surgeon ,who I have never seen, will phone me in January, but it would be interesting to hear from anyone who has had a
vitrectomy
for an epiretinal membrane.

Diabetic and Eye Damage
I had a further course of injections and then a
vitrectomy
, this was three weeks before Christmas. I came out of hospital with my sight restored and I even cooked the Christmas do.

Surgery day
OMG, after what seems a long wait my
vitrectomy
is scheduled for tomorrow. I have to be in hospital at 12:15 !!!!! I’m excited and anxious all at the same time. Relieved that the macular hole is going to be repaired.

If it’s not one thing, it's another! Update
Hopefully getting a date for the
vitrectomy
(macular hole repair in my eye). Not sure if that’s a further step forward or false hope. Also had a copy letter from Gynaecology unit following the hysteroscopy/biopsy appointment last week.

Still waiting!
How long have you had to wait for
vitrectomy
surgery? My journey started in January with a referral to the hospital following a check with my optician.

Do I or don’t I??
Particularly if they know that I’m due a
vitrectomy
for my eye. Up until beginning of last month I’ve been home-working full-time. My ‘employer’ terminating said employment at probation end.

partial thickness macular hole
Just wondering if anyone has been offered
vitrectomy
surgery for a partial thickness macular hole. I had fairly good vision recovery after
vitrectomy
for a full thickness macular hole in my left eye. I now have a partial thickness hole in my right eye.

thin eye tissue
just had my second
vitrectomy
in 6 months. during the op I could hear the surgeon say the retina was so thin a few times. I’ve just read on the eye drops that steroids cause thinning of eye tissue. is there anything I can do/eat to strengthen the retina? Many Thanks

Par Plana Vitrectomy Operation.
On my last visit I was told that I would be eligible for a par plana
vitrectomy
which would correct the partially dislocated IOL that was implemented for cataract removal in 2017. The pseudoexfoliation syndrome that I have has causes this problem, giving me a wobbly lens and a glare.

vitrectomy for floater in central vision with high myopia
Please anyone out there with
vitrectomy
procedure. I had a small tear five days ago and my RS laser it but now I am left with this big floater that’s in my central vision very blurry and uncomfortable. He said your brain will adjust to it but I don’t think so.

Some help needed.
Am 44 and been diagnosed with glaucoma after a steroid reaction after a
vitrectomy
and the pressure in my left eye going to 55!! The outside glare is terrible but indoors I am relatively normal. I just need some advice in general about what to do and how to stop feeling so rubbish!

macular hole
I previously have had
vitrectomy
op on same eye. After cataract surgery last year I noticed the wavy lines etc again. I rang Liverpool who had done the
vitrectomy
op. I kept getting put through to someone then cut off then someone would ring me back, they didn't, then told to email, no response.

Macular hole
Although I have had a
vitrectomy
op 3 years ago I don't know much about my latest diagnosis. I knew everything was deteriorating again and emailed and rang over and over my main hospital who did the first op but they never responded.
