Another 8 weeks on. Advice, please
Hi everyone. Background: I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism some years ago, but only discovered last November (2023), thanks to the forum, that I have an atrophied thyroid. Also, upped my dose of Levothyroxine in early October from 100 mcg Levothyroxine 3 times a week and 125 4 times a week plus 10mcg

changing from Armour to levo
Hi all I take armour thyroid and have done for over 10 yrs now. I was originally prescribed this by a private doctor but further down the rd I found a way to buy Armour myself so I self medicate. I test my levels regularly (probably every 4-6 months) and I’ve felt in a good place for years. That’s

Vit d or fibromyalgia?
But, my
vitamin
d
level was 43 nmol, when should be between 50/75. So I'm on (have been for 3 weeks) 800iu vit d tablets. Nothing is helping, no pain relief. Or vit d. And it's getting worse. I don't believe my level of vit d is low enough to cause the pain I'm in, and how frail I feel.

Hypo after all?
Hello everyone, this is my first post, though I’ve been gleaning pearls of wisdom from this site for a couple of years, so thank you all! I’m a 60-year-old male. I’ve had chronic fatigue since 1988; tight forehead pain and a horrible “saturated brain” feeling since the late 1990s (brought on by reading

Is this classed as low folate?
I'm a little confused about my blood test results. I'm not sure if I am posting in the right group! MCH and MCHC were slightly high which can indicate macrolytic anaemia. GP said I don't have that because my B12 and folate levels are fine (which are the usual causes). However, I posted the results

Rux Experience at 5 weeks
Also strangely feel much worse if I take
vitamin
D
or B12. Seems weird but through process of elimination I figured that out. The only think “better” is the horrible pain I was getting in my abdomen is gone. Good chance I’m going back to HU soon.

Suspected B12 deficiency

why am I getting lower back pain, right leg pain/ache, left leg pins and needles?
Oh I should also mention I did have blood tests done at initial GP appointment, I think they were checking for diabetes, the check for diabetes was clear and all blood levels normal although I did have low
vitamin
D
levels which I am now taking
vitamin
D
that was prescribed.

Strange results! Would value opinions.
February 2022 on 125mcg Levo TSH 0.04 (0.27-4.2) FT3 5.22 (3.1-6.8) FT4 19.1 (12-22) January 2024 125 Levo 3mcg Lio TSH 0.0008 (0.27-4.2) FT3 4.7 (3.1-6.8) FT4 18.1 (12-22) After about a year adding Lio why has my FT3 lowered ?! Seems very odd. I mean I do feel quite a bit better. Still a slump

New Year New Bloods! It's time to titrate! Please help!
I made it to 8 weeks. This feels like a long post - I have both Thyroid and Iron issues to work out... I tried to make it shorter, but did not succeed, so here is a 5 bullet summary first.
TL;DR: Got results I didn't quite expect:
- I only changed a wee bit... + 12.5 on the levo
