Could This Be Thyroid?
I know what you're going to say... do these tests and just wait and see... I'm very anxious with symptoms right now and just looking for some thoughts. osteoporosis following pmr
my pmr diagnosis coincided with the start of lockdown so I never saw a doctor. I was eventually prescribed pred and omeprazol over the phone in May 2020 and thankfully managed to taper down to zero by early 2023 after major abdominal surgery. All seems fine for now but my new Gp was shocked that I never

hi there, does anyone on this wonderful forum also have Lichen Sclerosis? My Mum (85) is really suffering, she has followed all guidelines for 20+ years, had biopsies, used steroids as directed and special non soap washes. She isn’t diagnosed with AIT, but I inherited it from somewhere and she had

Hiya everyone, I'm in dire need of some help and encouragement 🤗 to begin self injecting. My Doctor turned around a week ago and told me my b12 was now normal (after liver blood test) and I no longer needed my nhs 12 weekly injections as I am borderline. I hate that word as you can't be in the middle

Best way to address new folate deficiency?
Hello, I'm looking for some advice on folate levels. I've just got back a set of test results from Thriva, which were generally okay, except that I am now folate deficient (which I've never been before to my knowledge) (result was 6 nmol/L). The reason is obvious to me now, as I made a silly error

Back in January I was feeling awful, worse than when I was thyrotoxic at the start of all these problems in Sept 2021. In October 2023 I suffered what appeared to be a mild bout of Covid-19 but I seemed to slowly deteriorate from then on with what appeared to be worsening hypothyroid symptoms. These

I've just changed to the igennus b12 sublingual as I get on very well with their super-b complex. reading the label I notice it contains methylcobalamin, adenosylcobalamin and hydroxocobalamin, the previous b12 supp I used didn't have hydroxocobalamin - what is it?

Alendronic Acid
I’ve been diagnosed with Osteopenia. About 7 months ago I was given vitamin d and calcium tablets which I am fine with. I was also given Alendronic acid which makes me feel very lethargic for a couple of days after taking. Has anyone else experienced this. I’m virtually at the point of deciding not to
