Good afternoon all!Haven't posted in awhile, still going for my monthly blood tests without diagnosis. The doctors are now asking me what I would like to be tested for... all results are coming back 'satisfactory ' or 'within range'. My symptoms are still the same - hair loss, weight gain, brain

Hi all, hoping for some help! I was sent for an mri for consistent blood results suggestive of pituitary issues. It revealed an empty sella. I was referred to endo/neurology. They did tests - no problem with my pituitary. I had consistent blood results showing very low TSH with low/mid level t4 and

Advice on Tests Please
Dear Forum Members, I wonder if you advise which tests are needed for PA. In recent years my ferritin has been below 30, folate deficient and B12 on the low side. I have been self supplementing with supplements and levels have raised but I do not feel any better. So far, I have had ‘serum’

Hello again, I have some updated bloods and as predicted by the group, it appears my thyroid levels have dropped to an underactive level. So, I'm going to stop the Carbimazole and test again in 6 weeks. I'll keep taking my Iron and magnesium. Have bought a B complex but it seems to have made me feel

Lupron unjection not reducing PSA
I was first diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2016. It has been contained in the prostate ever since. For 3 years I treated myself with vitamins and nutrients. Kept my psa down until I had a kidney stone operation and for some odd ball reason loss control of the psa after the operation, it shot up to

just below normal Vit D symptoms
My husband has been suffering fatigue, low mood, and poor sleep over the last few months. Quite comprehensive blood tests only showed that his D3 level is just insufficient at 49, when acceptable levels should be 50+. Is it possible that his symptoms could be down to his D level? GP recommended he supplements

Thyroid question please...
Hi everyone, I am writing to ask if you can have a sore thyroid without significant enlargement and with 'normal' bloods? I have had 'normal' bloods, it doesn't seem visually enlarged, though I feel like I am being strangled and have audible sounds when I swallow in my ears. When I move my head something

B12 and Ferritin
I said I would post after my haematology consultation. I had a ferritin infusion in February after suspecting that I was ferritin/iron deficient as a result of research into ranges etc. I discovered that 30 can be regarded as ferritin deficient, a lot more than the bottom of the range 11 regarded as

Any tips for Natural Modified FET (boost lining)?
Hi everyone, I have a persistent thinnish lining (around 6 to 7mm) after an episode of abnormal bleeding between periods (turned out to be silent endo and a polyp that did not show up on ultrasound). Before that, 11mm was my average. After failing a recent FET, my doctor decided to monitor my lining

Blood Test Results
Hi I have trouble getting a GP appointment - in that I never get one. Test results are relayed via the receptionist so never any opportunity to ask questions. This is the latest test and as a result I've been told to vary my dose (normally 125mcg) taking 100mcg alternate days, 125mcg on the others.

When Did UK Thyroid Ranges Change
Along with many of us here I've long suspected my thyroid has been struugling for years. I'm lucky to have access to my online GP records and spent part of yesterday evening going back over some old stuff dating back to 2006. It was about this time I started to get Fibro symptoms. And when my B12 really
