An Enlightening Endocrine Adventure
After appeasing an endocrinologist worried about my suppressed TSH by a cunning lab trick -- withholding NDT for three days before going for the blood work -- I realized I needed to titrate up the dose. Many thanks to those who replied with their NDT experience. I cranked it up to nearly double what

what could cause these dark shadows in my granny's eyes, it's on both sides, it appears every few months and can last for months sometime. She gets b12 injections but her levels are fine and she had her last injection a week ago. Any thoughts are much appreciated

Imbibe B12 Ampoules ?
hello, seems a strange question. I decided to try some Panpharma ampoules and the stinging is unbearable. Sane needles, tried different spots same awful stinging. Give me pain injecting anytime over this. There is no way I m going to inject even 1 ampoule. So rather than waste them I can either

Has anyone tried Neovos for an MMA urine test please?
Hi...wondering if anyone has tried these for tests please? I've used St Thomas hosp in past but they stopped over covid and am awaiting to hear back from them about current testing. Meanwhile these came up as offering a b12 urine test for £63,which is for MMA considerably cheaper than others available

Pascoe B12 in the USA?
Is it possible to buy the Pascoe B12 in the USA? Last B12 shot I had, one my insurance would allow, gave me an allergic reaction. Was told by some friends that I might be able to tolerate the Pascoe.

increasing T3 advice
Hello, My endo has told me this week to increase from 5mcg T3 to 7.5mcg and if that feels ok / no palpitations after a week to go up to 10mcg. I’m also on levo 150 and have been told to go up to 175 at weekends. I posted my recent blood results on Monday. All vits tested December and optimal. Iron

B12 injections - advice please
Hi, I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, but also have very low B12 levels (not clear if PA). I was prescribed B12 injections privately - Hydroxycobalamin. However, the pharmacy can issue me with the ampules, but no means to inject it so I’m into working out plan B. Possibly getting the ampules

B12 - advice on injections please
Hi, can anyone tell me if there is a reason you should have Hydroxycobalbumin rather than Methylcobalbumin form of B12 injected..? Hydroxycobalbumin is the precursor of the other with Methylcovalbumin being the active form (from what I can tell) and both seem to be available in the UK for injection.

First BMD in 8 years
I got a BMD and have been considering echolyte in the year ahead to inform my numbers with more information. I wonder what some of your concerns for me might be as I debate medication or no medication. I am an active 68 year old woman. I walked 920 miles in 8 weeks in a wellness competition. I am

ET JAK2+ - Could this be progressing and how do I obtain more information/support?
I've have had several consultants (it seems that heamatology has been a revolving door one in one out for years at my hospital) since my diagnosis and I feel like I am getting nowhere. My background is that I was diagnosed ET Jak2+ 10 years ago, after a lengthy battle with Drs over symptoms - they kept
