Hi I’m taking 15 mg methotrexate & 5mg folic acid the day after . The day after the folic acid I am very bad, spaced out, headaches & dizzy for few days. I put it down to the methotrexate but recently I forgot the folic acid & took it late. I got all the side effects straight after the folic acid so

Feeling rather blue
So I've been at a fairly useless clinic for the past 5 years - managed 2xICI and 1 egg collection with 2 embryos at the end. All chemicals/ failures. I had a consultation with one of the consultants about my treatment. He dismissed any supplements other than folic acid and vitamin D. Said my AMH (12.07

osteoporosis following pmr
my pmr diagnosis coincided with the start of lockdown so I never saw a doctor. I was eventually prescribed pred and omeprazol over the phone in May 2020 and thankfully managed to taper down to zero by early 2023 after major abdominal surgery. All seems fine for now but my new Gp was shocked that I never

Comprehensive CKD and healthy Diet app
If you are aware of any reputable comprehensive apps to help track food intake for CKD patients. I would love a recommendation. Kidney diet tracking is complicated and it would be invaluable to have a toolset for those of us trying to implement dietary changes that are comprehensive. By comprehensive

Should I ask to go up on my levothyroxine dosage?
Hi everyone! As suggested, I followed everyone's advice regarding the blood test, and also I've been taking the levothyroxine earlier (leaving more of a gap before eating or taking other medications) for a month, and my latest results are: Serum free T4 level 12.0 pmol/L [7.9 - 14.4] Normal 05 Apr

Seeking reassurance on fatigue and recovery
Hi everyone, I've been managing a rollercoaster of symptoms lately and wanted to see if anyone has experienced something similar.
Onset
: Since December 2022, I had recurring, short episodes of fatigue. About once every month, I would feel it coming on (almost like a cold, but with no sinus/respiratory

Any ideas of expectations of reticulate test after beginning b12 injections please?
Hi I wonder if anyone could kindly explain about the reticulate test please? I’m on a loading dose of b12 & had this test after 2 injections. Ive had a loading dose before, but quite sure this test didn’t take place last time around?I’ve tried to find information out, but can’t seem to find an answer

Low Ferritin and raised Iron
I have always struggled to get my ferritin levels up. I’m into nutrition so eat the right stuff, including meat daily and have eaten liver pate until I’m sick of the sight of it! Ferritin was 30’s-40’s (30-200) and I thought I’d try a 14 mg iron supplement and it has raised to a record high of 57!

Vitamins/supplement balance 2ww and TTC. SO CONFUSING!
How do you manage preparing for an IVF cycle with suplements if you are also trying naturally? I am in a 2ww and might be pregnant if you believe in miracles. I have been taking the list below before, but learnt this is too much and can be detrimental in a two week wait so swapped for a pregnancy

Hiya everyone, I'm in dire need of some help and encouragement 🤗 to begin self injecting. My Doctor turned around a week ago and told me my b12 was now normal (after liver blood test) and I no longer needed my nhs 12 weekly injections as I am borderline. I hate that word as you can't be in the middle

ADT duration for high risk with Cribriform
Hi all, Age 72. In good health. I'd like to get some advice on my case. Should I stop ADT after 12 months? https://bmcurol.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12894-022-01145-x I just consulted with my RO. I’ve done 11 of 18 months on Eligard. He wants me to stay the course. He spoke about the possibility
