How much folate is everyone taking?
How much folate is everyone taking?I’m now currently twice a day, will be moving to three times a day. When I was injecting once a day, I was taking one 5mg of folic acid. Now that I’ve increased my injections, im wondering if I should increase my folic acid.

update on subacute thyroiditis
Just posting an update on my experience with subacute thyroiditis. Thanks for the support in this forum! Since mid August I was quite unwell with classic symptoms of thyroiditis (significant neck pain, high inflammatory markers) and became quite thyrotoxic. I was eventually given a course of steroids

Pain everywhere.
I've been 10+ yrs searching for answers. I had some bladder problems in 2013. Doctors did surgery. I almost died. Apparently they told me my blood vessels looked funny. They didn't know if they "knicked " me or what but I lost 8 pints of blood very quickly. They barely got me transfusion in time. I chalked

2 years today , no afib episodes
My last episode was a high stress move out of state 2 years ago. I'm 68. I've had afib for 10 years . Regular episodes every 6 months on average though more frequent in the early years before I got a proper diagnosis which took 3 years. I take flecainide , metoprolol , and Xarelto. No ablations. I'm

Any expert eyes make any sense of these results
Hi I am writing to my GP today to ask for B12 injections to increase my levels to top 25% of range and support my clearly wonky thyroid activity. If anyone has any observations whatsoever regarding my blood results over the last 18 months I would be truly grateful ! I will attach results in next

Seeking advice....
Asking for a friend who recently discovered some liquid B12 in the fridge ! Metabolics - Methyl - and yes it has been opened. BB date was some time ago - oops ! Is it still safe to use ? - does it lose effectiveness ? I'm a shocker for ignoring dates but would hate to give bad advice to a friend.

Anything I should be doing for auto-immune hypothyroid?
Hi there, I was recently diagnosed by hypothyroidism as GP blood test showed a high TSH level (14.69) along with the symptoms I was experiencing (general tiredness, terrible immune system and weekly cold sores). They didn't do any other tests, and I was keen to also get a baseline on my T3/T4 levels,

optimal bloods?
Looking at my bloods I think they are near enough spot on? (Any input would be great). However I still feel terrible with severe fatigue & body aches. I am taking vit D, multi vit, iron (heme) and going to restart cortex adrenal. As my cortisol is coming back low. currently on 1 1/4 grain armour

First time posting here with questions
Hello, I was wondering how to tell if you need b12 injections when you take oral b12 and your serum b12 always comes out looking great? I haven't had it tested recently but past tests always come out way over the range. Anyway, I saw a post by @Marz in which she said that she takes b12 due to having

Question about B12 test results
Hello there, I have done two full thyroid panels with Blue Horizon, 16th months apart, the most recent being November ‘23 and I would appreciate your insight and advice. B12 and folate were low in July ‘22 so I took Thorne Basic B for about 6 months at the beginning of this year. My energy improved

Ferritin Levels/Hair Loss/Thyroid
Good morning I have started to loose my hair and the doctor is insistent its not a change in my thyroid levels, although my TSH has changed over the last couple of readings. So I was told to have a ferritin test and take vitamin D, I also take B12. Thinking that it would be low hence the hair loss
