NICE guideline on B12 Deficiency diagnosis and monitoring in over 16s
The
B12
Deficiency Guideline in Over 16's has been published.
What does this mean for those with Pernicious Anaemia whether formally diagnosed or not?
What does it mean with those struggling to get sufficiently frequent treatment for their B12 deficiency?

Vitamins for cognition
He takes omega 3,
B12
,
vitamin
D and magnesium supplements and it's difficult to know if they are helping or not. I wondered if any of you could advise which supplements have been helpful to you. Lions mane and ashwaganda have also been suggested and I wondered if anyone has tried these?

Great blog post on B12 and videos from Prof Bruce HR Wolffenbuttel
The professor is probably well known to forum members from his frequently referenced paper, "The Many Faces Of Cobalamin (
Vitamin

I had look in FAQ and could not see any reference to the role of
vitamin
B12
in either PMR or GCA. A colleague recommended B12 injections to alleviate the symptoms, pain and fatigue. I am sceptical of anecdotal suggestions. Has anyone heard about this supplement or tried it?

sub clinical hypothyroidism
After two weeks I went to the doctors and got bloods done which revealed by TSH level at 6.7mu/L with Serum free T4 level at 17.9 pmol/L and had all other bloods done which was normal and within range, only very high
vitamin
b12
. I was told this wasn't serious enough for any treatment.

symptoms with treated PA
My general query is; are there consequences and symptoms connected to a lack of stomach acid/intrinsic factor other than the inability to absorb
vitamin
b12
? Such as loose stools, bloating and ibs. Also, is the ability to absorb iron, vitamin D and folic acid affected?
