I am on .75 mcg of levo Wockhart brand and have had the same one for at least two years but have noticed when I got home with me last prescription 3 boxes were Accord. They were low on stocks and the Wockhart went out of date this month too. I have been completely gluten free for a couple of years and did try lactose free but went back on milk as it didn't seem to make any difference.(not knowingly anyway)
I am taking sub lingual D3 with K2 .75ml (4000iu) every other day
B12 sublingual 1ml 1000mcg 3 times a week
Magnesium (sorry haven't got the bottle with me ) 3/4 nights a week
Zinc citrate 17.1mg about 4 times a week
The random dosing is because I am useless at remembering when to take things.
Last time I increased my dose of Levo to 100mcg I started getting palpitations which now won't go away. I have tried to isolate what sets it off but it is very random and at a rough guess it could be something to do with the HRT (1mg a night Levo in the morning) or stress.
Igennus B complex popular option too. Nice small tablets. Most people only find they need one per day. But a few people find it’s not high enough dose
IMPORTANT......If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 7 days before ALL BLOOD TESTS , as biotin can falsely affect test results
In week before blood test, when you stop vitamin B complex, you might want to consider taking a separate folate supplement (eg Jarrow methyl folate 400mcg)
Post discussing how biotin can affect test results
Thank you Slow Dragon that is nice and clear. I will go for the small tablets as I do have trouble swallowing. If I do them after breakfast can I take the zinc and selenium at the same time? It was some time ago that I was given the 1mg levo to take and didn't know about Teva not always being agreeable, also I was just told to up the dose and went straight on to 1mg so perhaps that had something to do with the palpitations. Thank you so much for your help.
