After some info on cardio exercise and B12 deficiency.......
I little bit of my B12 history: diagnosed 7½ years ago, been self injecting for 7 years, and am currently SI'ing every 3 days. With this protocol I have no symptoms. I can walk for miles every day, I can do weight training at the gym 2 to 3 times a week, I work, I go out, I have a happy, healthy marriage

low TSH
I have autoimmune thyroid disease diagnosed 23yrs ago and have been on the hypothyroid treadmill since. Yet again GP wants to reduce my levothyroxine and liothyronine as my TSH is 0.12. this happens regularly and my TSH never changes. Many years ago an ultrasound of my thyroid showed it was “shrivelled

recommedations for patches or lozenges
I have been injecting my son with B12 for a couple of months about twice a week. He tried self injecting but has a needle phobia and was passing out. He is about to go away Europe for a month and I thought to get him some patches or lozenges to try and help keep his levels of B12 up. Has anyone used

I have a unicorn doctor
ohmygoodness…. I know this should be the standard level of care but I’m still in shock. I just had my latest GP appointment who has been looking after me since my big crash back in March. She had agreed 3 weeks ago to put me back onto weekly injections after such a dismal response to monthly (surprise

Pins and needles help
Friends, I have been diagnosed with Pernicious Anemia and am suffering the classical pins and needles sensation in my arms and legs. B12 jabs have significantly reduced the sensation but I still have some remaining. Is there any over the counter or “home grown” products which can help relief?

Is neuropathy related to Thyroid? If so, what tests do I get?
I have periperal neuropathy primarily in my feet/shins. Is neuropathy related to thyroid issues? If so, is there anyrhing else to test except for a standard thyroid panel? I do currently take B12 injections every 4 days so I have that cause covered which has helped but wondering if something else is

New PA diagnosis
Hi all Recently found to have autoimmune gastritis with stomach polyps. I also have Hashimotos (autoimmune thyroid addressed & on meds) and ckd stage 3 I was given the B12 loading dose of 6 injections. I read since a high intake of B12 is not good for the kidneys? Does anyone know if this is the case

Found this questionable definition of pernicious anemia on a Johns Hopkins web page about gastritis: [i]
Pernicious anemia

Since taking over my PA treatment with frequent injections, my symptoms have greatly ameliorated. However, there's one thing I hadn't anticipated. Recently I've had to have a couple of teeth extracted. Each time I've ended up in casualty because the bleeding wouldn't stop, and wondered about B12.
