Hi I have just checked my last thyroid results and my Free T4 is rising and TSH is low. My dose has been the same for 18 months and I haven't changed diet or been taking supplements. 26/04/22 Free T4 was 13.3 and TSH 6.2. My dose was increased from 75mcg to 100mcg. Since then trend has been: 09/06

Folic acid and b12
Hi all, I’m new here. I have low B12 (390 -180-900), but have been tested for pernicious anaemia and the test came back clear. I have low folic acid (3.4 -3.00-17.00) and was perscribed folic acid 5mg. I just read that taking folic acid when low in b12 can cause neurological symptoms. I was tested

Breakthrough?
Only 15 days in to the successful regiment of 2 mg every 5 hours including setting an alarm and injecting at night. So three times in the last 15 days I essentially skipped a dose. The breakthrough is I was able to observe that there was a 10 to 15 hour delay in the effects of that missed dose. Or

First DEXA shows osteopenia - hoping for some advice please
Hello everyone, this is my first post to Bone Health, but I have posted to other Healthunlocked forums recently as I’m trying to work through my various health issues. I’m in the UK and hoping to get some advice from those more experienced than me please. I paid privately for my first DEXA scan in April

low folate
hi all, I’m sorry for another post. I’ve just been to the doctor. He will check my stool but said my folate as low. 3.4 (range 3.00- 17.00). Could this be the culprit? Extreme extreme tiredness, very bad headaches, weakness, feeling low, irritability. Hot flushes..

Pins and Needles
I made an error in not being aware that I was reading pins and needles and equating that with the agony and debilitating pain I used to experience. Not the same experience. Part of this error is the treatment protocols are the same no matter the pain and agony level so to physicians the severity is

The Sun and I
The legitimate literature at the time supported that
Vitamin
D would get you
a
good blood test and not much else. Ironicy the heat was an issue for me. So I decided to get enough sun. In the summer I got lots of sun. In the winter I went south by car until I got to the sun. I flew to Florida.

low lymphocytes in blood. High white cells in urine. Should I be worried?
Recently had a letter from rheumatologist saying my lymphocytes are low 0.5. And +++ Leukocytes in urine. As well as low vitamin D & low ferritin. I take Vit D anyway and am on MMF & prednisolone 7mg . Should I be worried? My named rheumatology team are not helpful at all, these results only came

Injecting three forms of B12 at the same time?
Has anyone tried injecting three forms of B12 at the same time? I am designing a new trial and am considering staying with my amount of 2mg mg 5 hours apart including setting an alarm to inject in the night so my body is never without enough B12 for my cells to heal and injecting the three forms.

Nervous tummy
I'm really getting very low in mood. My tummy heaves constantly. I have been quite proud of myself for about four months because I came off Sertraline. I put this down to my EOD inj of B12. It lifted me so much after nearly 50years on and off, mainly on, antidepressants. I have been worried about my

feeling worse and worse
since a couple days ago, I’ve had extreme fatigue, feeling low and a very bad headache. I just went for a walk with my mum and I felt horrible. I got hot flushes, fast heart rate, shakiness, covered in sweat and weakness. Now I’m laying on the couch, exhausted. There’s no way that hypo can cause you

Hi I'm new here in this forum. I'm from the Netherlands and due to celiac gluten free for over 10 years. Bread and processed salt are the main sources of iodine here, both I don't eat. A few months ago my TSH came back 6.9 and FT4 middle of the range, and the doctor wasn't helpful at all he was unreachable

Latest 14 day trial.
Not a trial of volume rather a trial of constant frequency. A trial to explore a hypothesis. Not seeing if I can stumble on something ‘that works’. I consider injecting the same amount less frequently as under supplementation. Note: frequently is not meaningful unless there is a number. Twice a month

Feeling helpless & hopeless
I dunno what to do anymore. I just turned 39, I was diagnosed around 18 months ago. Tried non-stimulant medication, didn't work, and made my ADHD and the associated depression worse, despite it being an anti-depressant treatment (Strattera/Atomoxatine). Went to adderall, seems to have a minimal effect
