Nervous tummy

I'm really getting very low in mood. My tummy heaves constantly. I have been quite proud of myself for about four months because I came off Sertraline. I put this down to my EOD inj of B12. It lifted me so much after nearly 50years on and off, mainly on, antidepressants. I have been worried about my son and one of my granddaughters but I didn't expect this slump. I do know that world affairs have caused me sleepless nights and churny tummy but I'm so disappointed at this old familiar anxious state coming back with such force. I was wondering about any recommendations for vitamin B complex or any other vitamins that might help to build me back up and relieve this for me.

I currently have my EOD B12 injection and folinic acid pill.

Hi 3rdNettydoon,

Now is recovery or some ‘down time’ where you let your body and mind recover from getting your son’s treatment sorted. You also take a break from your granddaughter’s circumstances.

You look after you. Start appreciating the beauty of nature, step away from the news and technology. Read a lovely well written book or do some art. You need to bring the Autonomic Nervous System to a more serene and tranquil state. As well as the biochemical aspect.

It is a holistic way. Relaxing is an art form and that low mood and tummy heaving is telling you something. We need to look after our bodies because they are the only ones we have. People who listen and are attuned to their bodies know and say, Oops, I have done too much. So, I am going to ignore the world and loaf on my sofa.

P.A./B12D is a chronic condition and needs to be managed.

😘

The sky and sun.

Ahh. That sounds so lovely. Thank you.

My conscience plays havok when I think I'm doing nothing but what you say makes so much sense. One of my favourite places to visit is the shore. Our beaches are glorious and I've hardly been near for quite a while. I realise that has to change. Thank you so much.

3rdNettydoon,

You perceive you are doing ‘nothing’. Your lungs are busy at work, exchanging carbon dioxide and oxygen, your heart is pumping away all 4 chambers, your muscles and ligaments are keeping you in the position you want. So, much is happening, it is impossible to do nothing.

Stunning about the beach and watching the shore. The waves crashing in and rolling back, the ebb and flow of the white foam on the sand. The reflection of the sun on the water. The wild life flitting about calling their mates, playing, diving without a care in the world. I too live by water.

Narwhals have to because we are # weird fish. 🤣😘

Water and pebbles.

Hi Narwhal and Nettydoon

Wise and true words from Narwhal - what I call my “best do nothing days” or more correctly “best to rest” days. Worrying and caring is mentally exhausting and when I have “over cared” it shows in my tummy and mood too. When I have physically overdone it, I just lose what little appetite I have and fall sleep!

So yes, Narwhal is right , you need some quality YOU time, feed the carer in you!

Oh Wwwdot,

I have meditated for nearly 30 years. A couple of days ago, I was walking past a good friend who also meditates and teaches T’ai Chi. He was talking to a client and was saying the word Calm as I approached. I giggled. My friend and I hugged. The client was bemused as we exchanged a couple of sentences, my friend turned their attention back to their client and rightly so. I could not help but blurt out a sentence. The client ran off.

Yesterday, I went and had Me time, I also had an appointment for my own health. The clinician had a small tattoo and they told me why. I smiled and nodded. Chi means energy or life force. I love Alternative Therapies and there is part of my life that I do not disclose but there are somethings that I hold sacred. 🧘🏽

Narwhal

I am going to a meditation session on Tuesday run by a local Bhuddist monk community that's renovating a big old house just up in the hills behind us. I will let you know how I get on! I went to a gong bath recently try and it’s was exhilarating but enlightening too - an out of body experience needs practice to ms age 🤪🤪🤪

Hello 3rdNettydoon, I like many tend to internalize stress so it physically affects me.

Narwhal is so right, I started to meditate again recently to regain balance.

Going to the beach sounds lovely, and therapeutic. Best wishes x
