Constant visual disturbances for 9 weeks
Hi all, I've been having chronic migraines since catching COVID in 2022. I had a bad run of 7 migraines over a week, 9 and a half weeks ago. Which led to the room shaking constantly, whether my eyes are open or closed. The room shaking is one of my signs a migraine is coming on for me, and this time

I know to take Levo on an empty stomach, but how long do you recommend to leave between food and T4? I usually take mine before bedtime (10.30pm), but I run into problems because I like to have the odd glass of wine at night. I assume this will interfere with absorption? What is the latest I can eat

My Osteoporosis Diagnosis!
Hi All, I was diagnosed with osteoporosis earlier this year - early July. I had an DEXA Scan in late June! My osteoporosis is due to my age as I'm now menopausal - haven't had a period in last few years. I also have epilepsy & many epilepsy medications can affect how the body absorbs vitamin D as it

Good morning all has been a worrying time for me lately. I have just been through a cancer 2WW for colonoscopy due to high amount of blood in Q-Fit stool test.. is a glass or two of red wine so bad?
I know the whole subject of alcohol whilst on B12 injections has probably been debated to death but is it really that bad? Can it actually do any real harm to have a couple of glasses of wine. Yes, it may slow down the recovery process slightly, but surely it wont cause the healing to stop altogether

PA and the Dentist
I have found someone who understand PA ! My new dentist. I have had PA since 2015 and this is only the second person. The other was a physiotherapist whose sister had it. I broke a tooth and had to see a different partner in the practice and told her I had PA and she said " oh dear, that is difficult

Positive Update
I previously asked on this forum for advice for my husband in relation to a rls specialist in Ireland. This led to loads of great advice and knowledge in relation to the management of his severe rls as per Mayo Clinic Algorithm. He started taking magnesium glycinate 400 mg, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D3

Graves/hyperthyroid - not severe but wish me luck!
Greetings to fellow thyroid sufferers! Weight loss of 1.5 stones since the start of the year sent me off to my GP surgery. After numerous tests the only thing that showed up was a thyroid problem. Tests were repeated a week later to confirm. Apart from the weight loss my symptoms are bowel movts

Medicheck bloods - some advice please?
Hello everyone, took the suggestion of this wonderful group and got some private bloods done before my next gp review . The online gp stated that my thyroxine dose of 50 mcg were working well for me and vits were excellent. Thatâs doesnât really match how I feel day to day although much better than before

8 weeks vaccines
Hi ladies I wondered whether you had your babies vaccinated at week 8. Why did you go for it and for those that decided against vaccinations, would you mind sharing as to why? My little boy is 8 weeks tomorrow. He has had the vitamin k injection when he was born and I've had the whopping cough vaccine

Trying to understand results
I posted back in May that my doctor increased Synthroid for the first time from 50 mcg to 75 mcg. I also take 5mcg of Liothyronine. Iâve been hypo, and positive for Hashimotoâs for about 18 years. I had my TSH, T4 and T3 checked this morning and need help understanding what these results indicate
