She should start B12 daily first
Then a week later add separate vitamin B complex
once your serum B12 is over 500 (or Active B12 level has reached 70), she may be able to reduce then stop the B12 and just carry on with the B Complex.
If Vegetarian or vegan likely to need ongoing separate B12 few times a week
In week before blood test, when your Mum needs to stop vitamin B complex, consider taking a separate folate supplement (eg Jarrow methyl folate 400mcg) and continue separate B12
Note that improving folate when B12 is very low is not a good idea. Taking folate before B12 is improving can lead to neurological problems.

Thanks, Slow Dragon for your kind advices so promptly , Brand wise i bought (Health Leads) for both .. have used them for occasional health bits & pieces, always done verbally ,nice to deal with ,all manufactured by themselves, NO preservatives yeast, gluten, yeast,starch,sugar stearate,lactose,sweetners ,colours, no trans fats..Nb. or cyanide..! A little bonus.. buy 3 get a free extra , mix& match..! I will beam in any progress, Top Lady..!
Dear Slow Dragon or any of the A-Team.. my Mum's been on vit b complex daily ,month aprox,( not the vit b12 )she had on the introduction of b vits, not sure if her serum level is over 500, can this be guessed ,by time elapsed? Or is gp checked.? SHOULD, Ma, now take BOTH daily b12 (500 ug & the B complex 408 mg, she is still taking prescribed levo 75 the 100 alternate days as gp recommended & her vit D, gp supplied fultium d 800 iu, now on her prescription.. mum is still on a great moerate weekly diet ie meat, fish eggs, over a week,greens fruit, but still gets tired mid morning.. any advices recived with, many thanks gazdad, aka, Gareth
