I was lucky enough to go and see a truly amazing doctor in the states (where the parents emigrated) who noticed I have
a
folate conversion problem, I was deficient in
vitamin
d and
a
few other issues which have since been adjusted.

Chart comparing contents of Vitamin B Complexes
Dear Friends, Very recently,
a
chart comparing the contents of the various
Vitamin
B Complexes was posted, and I accidentally deleted the post before copying and saving the information. I believe that one of the Thyroid UK administrators put together the chart.

TSAT low but Ferritin fine/maybe high
I took 50 mg of iron bisglycinate every other night with
vitamin
C. For
a
few months I didn't notice a difference, until I read here that it might be necessary to take something closer to 65 or even 75. So 2 months ago, I started the 75 mg of bisglycinate every other night.

My calcium level appears low within bone profile blood tests. Are these an accurate representation I wonder?
I also take
vitamin
D 400mg and 300mg vit k2, and 600mg magnesium at
a
separate time from the calcium. My Parathyroid and all other bone profile test results say ok. Confused. . Need your thoughts please? Is there a reason why my blood tests are not reflecting the amount of calcium I ingest?

Possible underactive thyroid?
I have very low levels of vitamin d, high iron (219ng/mL) and was told to take double doses of
vitamin
d for
a
couple of months, then to slowly drop down to a normal dose. My TSH level is 4.93 and my free thyroxine is 14.2 (I have no idea what these levels mean).

Stiff as a Post!
I remember going to a wholistic style GP who told me to take huge doses of
Vitamin

a
lot of difference.

Tooth Extraction delayed because of risks while on Alendronic Acid
I’m taking high strength
Vitamin
D3 4000 and
Vitamin
K2 MK-7 200 3 times
a
week. Should I now take these daily? I also have 150 mls of Greek Yogurt per day. I am now on 7mg steroids daily, tapering slowly from 20mg when diagnosed with PMR May 2023.

PCOS HASHIMOTOS FBC RESULTS ADVICE NEEDED
I have no energy, I'm taking iron plus from wild nutrition,
a
women's multi
vitamin
as well as an immune multi vitamin but my chest always feels heavy. I'm out of breath easily and I honestly couldn't exercise if I tried which is upsetting as I love it. I can't lose weight yet I'm eating well.

Updated Results on Armour
I'm not taking any supplements right now, but sometimes, I take 10,000 IU of
vitamin
D, maybe two or three times
a
week. What do you think about these results? I'm thinking of adding 5 mcg of liothyronine I recently visited another doctor who did not recommend Armour.

Is this thyroid?
Vitamin
D was at 50 so I started
a
spray which caused same issue of shaking, blood pressure spiking etc. My consultant now wants to check my thyroid anti body levels and T3 just in case. I’m just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience or symptoms. Any suggestions or advise appreciated.

B Complex comparison
Note on the Cytoplan - more of
a
multi-
vitamin
in B Complex costume. Note on Igennus B - you have to take 2 to get these levels, they state their Vit C is needed for B to absorb - already debated this in old posts.

So new results.
My results: TSH: 4.1 (0.3-4.4) T4 15.1(11-22) T3 wasn’t tested but is usually in
a
good range for thyroid.

Mum's battle
I had to make
a
special request for B
vitamin
tests. We plan on getting her thyroid levels check again next week and I have purchased a Life Extension supplement for Mum to treat her hypothyroidism.

Vitamin B1 overdose: typical symptoms and for how long?
Hi, I have just started on
vitamin
B1 therapy (sublingual) and I think I have had
a
case of overdoes . From folks who have tried the therapy first hand, would like to know what are the typical symptoms of overdoes they have seen and for how long they last after you have discontinued B1?

lowered my dexa scores!
I also took
vitamin
D as prescribed by my doctor. As
a
result I also lost weight! My AP spine has gone from -3.3 to -2.9 and my Femur has gone from -2.8 to -2.6. (Not enormous drops but going in the right direction).
