What is the saddest part of depression for you?
The saddest part of depression for me is having everything in the world....adoring husband, wonderful adult children, a gorgeous grandchild who is a joy, more money than I will ever need, etc.....yet feeling absolutely no joy at all, not enjoying the things you used to, never laughing, wanting to live

Jaw pain with PSP?
My husband was only diagnosed with PSP two weeks ago and is already on hospice care. He was in hospital and rehab and just came home yesterday. Now his jaw is hurting very badly. I thought it was a toothache, but happened to notice a passing comment about jaw pain on a PSP page. Is this common? It

Anyone that can relate to PTSD ICU?
Hi 🙋🏻♀️, my name is Jane. I had a full blown panic attack the other day after picking up a hospital pharmacy medication refill. I heard the Mayo One helicopter 🚁 landing on the roof. Before I even saw it, I froze. I forced myself to exit the building and stared up watching as they finished landing

Eylea experiences please
I was very frightened to have a sudden extreme distortion in vision in one eye just before Christmas- my optician immediately referred me to a consultant in January and l have a macular oedema (think that’s correct) probably due to extreme short sight -12dioptre in that eye. I was told the only treatment

Every other day depression anyone?????
Hi...I am having a very real problem with every other day depression. One day I am relatively fine and can accomplish things, while other days I can barely get out of bed. I also have anxiety, ptsd and ocd. It is becoming so obvious that I am planning appointments, lunch dates, etc. around it. I

White bump on retina
Hello. I keep joining this site, posting and then leaving it as I’m too scared to see the responses. So I’ve been having a few issues with my eyesight. I’m very myopic and had retinal detachments nearly 30 years ago. All going great until about 4 years ago when my vision began to deteriorate. Cataracts

Since my last visit with my Neurologist, two weeks ago, I have not been able to see clearly. At that visit he injected Botox shots around my eyes to prevent them from closing. I have never had a side effect from the injections My vision is blurred, my eyes feel dry, they water, are swollen and I have

Inflammation reducing diets
I’m wondering whether there is actually any published peer reviewed scientific evidence rather than anecdotal to show that ANY diet affects PMR and inflammation? I can see than eating less of fatty and sugary foods would lead to weight loss itself . However both my GP and Rheumatologist says leaving

Bloodshot eye
I had an Eylea injection to my left eye on Monday and it became very bloodshot straight away. The white of my eye is a very dark red. It’s now Saturday and it is not getting any better. The nurse who did the injection said it would take a few days to clear. Could anyone advise me how long it will take

In search of something better
I just joined this site hoping to find anything useful or good. I am diagnosed with PTSD and Panic Disorder with agoraphobia, I'm afraid it tends to define me, but not entirely. I think I'm somewhere in the middle of my journey. Hi!
