Vagus nerve
Trying not to think about the loss of my friend and trying to think about something else for awhile. I see him everywhere. It's hard. Thank you all again for your prayers and condolences. You are all amazing people. Just was wondering. We talk about the vagus nerve being a cause for Afib. I believe

When will the medical system wake up
It's 4 am here in Florida. I can't sleep. Back to taking the Eliquis since being in the hospital has put me back to square one. As I couldn't follow my personal protocol I had at home taking my supplements and whatnot. I had the tests and blood work and you know what. I was expecting them to be negative

Out of the hospital
Out of the hospital having gone in this last Sunday for heart pain. Blood tests galore and an angiogram this morning. Off the Eliquis Monday and Tuesday so I stayed in the hospital. Tests all negative. Released around noon today. A couple times I forgot to take a dose of the Eliquis at home and felt

New to AFib and having Anxiety and Depression
First I want to say, I have posted only one other time here....but this place has been great for reading others posts and responses! Also, I have always had issues with anxiety and depression, but not on any meds for it other than an Ativan every now and again. After finally being diagnosed with AFib

Heck getting older
Hi all. 9 am here in Deland FL where I'm at in the hospital. Drs came in awhile ago. All tests so far came back negative. That's good news. Saw the cardio Dr and we discussed the Eliquis and the side effect of angina. Yes it is a side effect. Doesn't want to switch me off Eliquis which I don't want to

Heck getting older sometimes
Laying here in the ER waiting to be admitted. Had been having pains in my heart last 3 days. One of my side effects from Eliquis is angina but it comes and goes. Not often. But this didn't want to go away. Yesterday I switched my Eliquis for an aspirin. And the pain seemed to get better. But this morning

A Cyroablation
I had my cyroablation on Aug 3, at Mayo Jacksonville. Was released that night but had to stay at the hotel on the campus. Dr took me off Cardizem 3 days prior. Told three months for scar tissue to firm and nerve endings to heal. Besides afib I had SVT , uncontrolled crazy heart rate. I have not

Supplementing with K2
Does anyone supplement with K2? Sometimes called Mk7. I am on Eliquis so no problem with the K. I've read that it's good to take k2 along with magnesium and vitamin D to help absorb them better. Also that k2 helps to keep calcium from building up in the arteries and keeps stiffness down of the blood

I've done my Vitamin D test and it's raised some doubts about Eliquis
My test kit came yesterday, (£7.45 from Amazon) I looked at it and decided to leave it until this morning which was just as well. The instructions were quite easy to understand once I got my mind round it. What didn't go so well was drawing enough blood. However, I did the test with three quarters

Raised Heart rate
Hi All. As mentioned in previous posts I have been on Digoxin & Eliquis Apixaban since the 11th August. The Digoxin seems to be doing a good job of reducing heart rate at rest and when I go for my daily walks. I do not think Digoxin is meant to reduce heart rate when exercising but I may be wrong. My

Yeast infection
Great. Now I have a yeast overgrowth. I am prone to yeast overgrowth in my system. I'm not talking about the vaginal yeast infections that women tend to get . I have more of an allergy to mold which causes me to get yeast overgrowth inside my body. Now I know that's one reason I feel so awful. Of course

Anxiety
Does anyone use a natural supplement for anxiety that works? I don't care to try a prescription. I had severe reactions to Paxil years ago and Dr said not to try any others. I'm on Eliquis. Anything to take with it that's natural? Thanks
